Sound familiar?

The job, before and after this agent.

What it feels like today

  • “I open Stripe every morning and still can't tell if yesterday was good.”
  • “Failed payments pile up and nobody notices until it's a pattern.”
  • “The team asks how sales are going and I have to pull the numbers myself.”

What you get with the agent

  • Runs every morning at the time you set and reads your recent Stripe payments and refunds.
  • Summarizes yesterday: gross, refunds and net per currency, payment count and top customers.
  • Lists failed payments with their reasons and calls out anything unusual against the typical day you describe.
  • Posts the digest to your Slack channel, clearly marked as partial on very busy days.

Before

You log into Stripe, scroll, filter by date, try to add refunds in your head, and still don't know if the dip was real.

After

At 7:00 a short digest is waiting in Slack: what you sold, what was refunded, who bought the most, which payments failed and why.

How it works

The whole workflow, step by step.

Every morning the agent reads your 100 most recent Stripe payments and up to 100 refunds from the last 48 hours, and AI summarises yesterday: gross sales, refunds and net per currency, payment count, the top customers, failed payments and their reasons, and anything unusual compared with the typical day you describe — then posts the digest to Slack. The sums, net and averages are calculated in code, never by the AI. When yesterday had more than 100 payments or refunds the digest says it's partial. Disputes, fees and payouts aren't read, so net is gross minus refunds, not your payout.

This is the workflow that opens in your workspace when you set the agent up. Every step can be edited.

  1. Step 1Every day at 7:00Runs every morning (change the time and time zone on the trigger).
  2. Step 2Read recent Stripe paymentsLists the 100 most recent payments in Stripe (amount, currency, status, customer, description, failure details).
  3. Step 3Read recent Stripe refundsLists up to 100 refunds created in the last 48 hours (amount, currency, status, reason, the refunded payment), so yesterday is covered in any time zone.
  4. Step 4Keep yesterday's paymentsIn code, not AI: keeps only the payments created yesterday (the previous calendar day in the trigger's time zone — set it on the trigger).
  5. Step 5Keep yesterday's refundsIn code, not AI: keeps only the refunds created yesterday, in the same time zone.
  6. Step 6Is yesterday complete? In code, not AI: when Stripe returned a full page of 100 payments, checks that the oldest one is from before yesterday — otherwise yesterday may be cut off and the digest says it's partial.
  7. Step 7Summarise yesterday's salesAI lists yesterday's payments and refunds (already picked out in code) with their amounts per currency, names the top customers and flags unusual failures, refunds or amounts.
  8. Step 8Check the mathAdds up gross, refunds and failed payments from the listed amounts and works out net and the average payment in code — not by AI — writes the correct figures into the digest, and records anything the AI got wrong in the run history.
  9. Step 9Post the digest in SlackPosts the morning digest to your sales or finance channel.
  10. Step 10Digest postedThe run history keeps every digest.

What goes in, and what comes out.

Example with fictional data

Comes in

Yesterday at Hollow Oak Tea Co. (fictional): 42 payments, 2 refunds, 3 failed payments.

The agent produces

Slack digest: gross, refunds and net in USD, top 3 customers, 3 failed payments (2 insufficient funds, 1 expired card), and a note that sales ran above the typical weekday you described.

What you need

Everything it takes to run it.

About 8 minutes from purchase to live. A checklist above the canvas takes you through each step.

Plan

Included in Enterprise; on other paid plans it's $69 once. Agents run live on paid plans, from Basic ($39/mo).

Your AI key

Connect any of 14 AI providers on your own key. Your provider bills usage directly, at cost; we add no markup.

Apps

Checklist

  • A paid plan (agents run live on paid plans).
  • An AI provider key (Settings → AI Providers).
  • Stripe and Slack, connected in Settings → Integrations.

Setup, about 8 minutes

  1. Connect your AI provider. The AI steps run on your own key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and more). Add one in Settings → AI Providers.
  2. Connect Stripe. Connect Stripe (Settings → Integrations → Stripe) with a key that can read payments and refunds (PaymentIntents: Read, Refunds: Read).
  3. Connect Slack. Connect the Slack workspace your team uses (Settings → Integrations → Slack).
  4. Describe your business. Open “Summarise yesterday's sales” and replace the placeholder with your currency and what a typical day looks like (set your time zone on the trigger).
  5. Pick your Stripe account. Open “Read recent Stripe payments” and “Read recent Stripe refunds” and pick your Stripe account in both.
  6. Pick the Slack account and channel. Open “Post the digest in Slack” and pick your account and channel. Invite the app to private channels first (/invite @Fluxo Flow).
  7. Test it with Dry Run. Press Dry Run: the agent runs on sample data with no messages sent and nothing written to your apps.
  8. Switch the trigger on. Open the trigger, check the time and time zone, and switch the schedule on.

Is it a fit?

Who it's for, and what it won't do.

Built for

  • Online shop owners selling through Stripe
  • Small subscription businesses
  • Founders who want the day's numbers shared with the team

What it doesn't do

  • It reads the most recent 100 payments and 100 refunds only; high-volume stores get a partial digest (a sheet-based version suits them better).
  • Disputes, fees and payouts aren't read, so net means gross minus refunds, not what lands in your bank.
  • It doesn't change anything in Stripe.

We list the limits up front so you can decide before you buy.

FAQ

Questions about Daily Sales Digest.

Will the numbers be right?

It reads Stripe directly and changes nothing there. Net means gross minus refunds, not your payout, since disputes, fees and payouts aren't read, and the digest says so when a day is only partly covered.

Which apps does it need?

Stripe and Slack. The agent's page shows whether each app is ready to connect.

Is it fine for a busy store?

It reads the newest 100 payments and up to 100 refunds. On bigger days the digest is marked partial, so high-volume stores may prefer a sheet-based report.

What does it cost to run?

About 8 minutes of setup and a one-time purchase that never renews. You need a paid plan and your own AI provider key; Dry Run is free.

Does it include refunds?

Yes. It reads refunds created yesterday and reports gross, refunds and net per currency. A refund counts on the day it was made, even when the payment was earlier. Disputes and payouts aren't included.

What about busy days?

It reads the newest 100 payments and up to 100 refunds. When yesterday had more, the digest says it's partial.

Can the AI get the totals wrong?

Not in the digest you read: the AI lists yesterday's payments and refunds with their amounts, and gross, refunds, net, the average payment and the failed total are recalculated in code and written into the Slack message (for up to three currencies). Anything the AI added up wrong is corrected and recorded in the run history.

Is this a subscription?

No. Daily Sales Digest is a one-time purchase of $69 per workspace and never renews. The Enterprise plan includes it at no extra cost. Running it live needs a paid plan (from Basic ($39/mo)), and your AI provider bills you directly for usage.

Can I test it before it touches real data?

Yes. Once it's set up in your workspace, Dry Run plays every step on sample data with simulated AI and app calls: nothing is sent and nothing in your apps changes. Switch the trigger on only when you're happy.
