Sound familiar?

The job, before and after this agent.

What it feels like today

  • “The same questions get asked in our Discord every day and moderators are volunteers.”
  • “Bug reports get lost in the chat scroll before the team ever sees them.”
  • “Spam sits there until a moderator happens to log in.”

What you get with the agent

  • Every message sorted as a question, bug report, rule break or spam, or chatter
  • Questions your FAQ covers answered in a thread on the message, from your FAQ only
  • Bug reports, spam, rule breaks and uncovered questions posted to your private mod channel with a link
  • Chatter and bot messages left alone, and nothing ever deleted, muted or banned by the agent

Before

Moderators scroll the help channel answering “is there a mobile app?” again, while a real bug report scrolls out of view.

After

Repeat questions get a thread reply from your FAQ. Moderators work from a clean channel of bugs, spam and open questions, each with a link.

How it works

The whole workflow, step by step.

Reads each new message in the Discord channel you pick. AI sorts it as a question, bug report, rule break or spam, or chatter. Questions your FAQ answers get a reply in a thread on the message, using only your FAQ. Bug reports, rule breaks, spam and questions the FAQ doesn't cover are posted to your private moderators' channel with a link. Chatter and bot messages are left alone. Messages are checked on your plan's schedule interval, not instantly, and the agent never deletes messages, mutes, kicks or bans.

  2. Step 2Sort the messageAI sorts the message (question, bug report, rule break or spam, chatter), answers questions from your FAQ only and writes the note for moderators.
  3. Step 3What to do?Chatter is left alone; answerable questions get a reply in a thread; everything else goes to the moderators' channel.
  4. Step 4Left aloneThe run history keeps the classification.
  5. Step 5Start a thread on the questionStarts a public thread from the member's message.
  6. Step 6Answer in the threadPosts the FAQ answer in the new thread as your bot.
  7. Step 7AnsweredThe run history keeps the question and the answer.

Example run

What goes in, and what comes out.

Example with fictional data

Comes in

A fictional member, riverfox, posts in #help: “Hey all, is there a mobile app? I can only find the website.”

The agent produces

Sorted as a question your FAQ covers. A thread reply explains the app status and where to install it. A message describing a crash would have gone to #mod-queue instead.

What you need

Everything it takes to run it.

About 15 minutes from purchase to live. A checklist above the canvas takes you through each step.

Plan

Included in Enterprise; on other paid plans it's $89 once. Agents run live on paid plans, from Basic ($39/mo).

Your AI key

Connect any of 14 AI providers on your own key. Your provider bills usage directly, at cost; we add no markup.

Apps

Checklist

  • A paid plan (agents run live on paid plans).
  • An AI provider key (Settings → AI Providers).
  • Discord, connected in Settings → Integrations, with your bot in the server.

Setup, about 15 minutes

  1. Connect your AI provider. The AI steps run on your own key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and more). Add one in Settings → AI Providers.
  2. Connect Discord. Connect your Discord bot (Settings → Integrations → Discord) and invite it to your server with Read Messages, Send Messages, Create Public Threads and Send Messages in Threads.
  3. Pick the server and channel. Open the trigger, pick your bot, the server and the channel to watch.
  4. Paste your FAQ and rules. Open “Sort the message” and replace the placeholder with your FAQ and server rules.
  5. Pick the bot and server in each step. Open “Start a thread on the question”, “Answer in the thread” and “Flag it to moderators”, pick the bot and server in each, and the moderators' channel.
  6. Test it with Dry Run. Press Dry Run: the agent runs on sample data with no messages sent and nothing written to your apps.
  7. Switch the trigger on. Open the trigger and click “Activate app trigger”: new messages are checked on your plan's schedule interval.

Is it a fit?

Who it's for, and what it won't do.

Built for

  • Game studios and indie developers with a Discord community
  • SaaS products using Discord for user support
  • Creators and course communities run by small mod teams

What it doesn't do

  • It never deletes messages, mutes, kicks or bans: moderators act on what it flags.
  • It's polled, not instant: replies come on your plan's schedule interval.
  • It answers only from your FAQ; anything else goes to moderators.
  • It watches one channel per setup and doesn't read images or files.

We list the limits up front so you can decide before you buy.
