Categorize transactions as they arrive; review only the unclear
Each transaction is coded to your own chart of accounts and tax rules. Clear ones land in your ledger sheet; the rest wait for your bookkeeper's call.
Free account to start. Buying and running live need a paid plan.
- Starts when your form or app sends it something

Sound familiar?
The job, before and after this agent.
What it feels like today
- “Month-end means hours of coding transactions one line at a time.”
- “Transfers and owner draws keep getting booked as expenses.”
- “I need help with categorizing, but I can't have software inventing accounts or tax treatment.”
What you get with the agent
- Every transaction classed as income, expense, transfer, refund or owner, and coded to an account from the chart you paste in
- Your tax rules applied, with a confidence rating on each decision
- Clear, high-confidence rows added straight to your Google Sheets ledger as Auto-categorized
- Unclear rows (low confidence, transfers, unknown tax, over your threshold, possible capital purchases) posted to Slack and held for your bookkeeper
- Reviewed rows logged with the reason they were flagged, so the sheet doubles as an audit trail
Before
Your bookkeeper exports the bank feed, codes every line by hand and still has to ask you what that Amazon charge was.
After
Transactions are coded as they come in. Your bookkeeper opens Slack to a short list of the ones that need judgement, confirms or corrects them, and imports a clean sheet.
How it works
The whole workflow, step by step.
Receives each transaction from your bank-feed export, card or expense tool, processor or another workflow through a webhook. AI decides income, expense, transfer, refund or owner, picks the account from the chart of accounts you paste in, applies your tax rules and rates its confidence. Clear, high-confidence transactions are added straight to your Google Sheets ledger; unclear ones (low confidence, transfers, unknown tax, over your review threshold) are posted to your Slack finance channel and wait in Reviews until your bookkeeper confirms or corrects them. It doesn't post to QuickBooks or Xero and isn't tax advice.

This is the workflow that opens in your workspace when you set the agent up. Every step can be edited.
- Step 1New transactionYour bank-feed export, card or expense tool, payment processor or another workflow posts each transaction to the workflow's webhook URL.
- Step 2Categorize the transactionAI picks the direction, the account from your chart of accounts and the tax treatment, rates its confidence and flags anything a bookkeeper should check.
- Step 3Clear or needs review?High-confidence transactions with nothing to check go straight to your ledger sheet; everything else waits for your bookkeeper.
- Step 4Add to your ledger sheetAppends the categorized transaction to your Google Sheet, marked “Auto-categorized”.
- Step 5Tell your bookkeeper in SlackPosts the transaction, the suggested account and why it needs a look to your finance channel.
- Step 6Bookkeeper checks the categoryYour bookkeeper confirms or corrects the account and tax treatment in Reviews before the row is logged.
- Step 7Add reviewed row to your ledger sheetAppends the transaction as checked by your bookkeeper, marked “Reviewed”, with the reason it was flagged.
- Step 8Bookkeeper notifiedThe run history keeps the alert that was posted.

What goes in, and what comes out.
Example with fictional data
Comes in
A fictional bank-feed line: “AMZN Mktp US, 3x USB-C docking station, -$287.40” from Business Checking.
The agent produces
Expense, coded to Office equipment per your chart, standard tax treatment. Because it's over your review threshold and could be a capital purchase, it's posted to #finance and held in Reviews with that reason.
What you need
Everything it takes to run it.
About 20 minutes from purchase to live. A checklist above the canvas takes you through each step.
Plan
Included in Enterprise; on other paid plans it's $129 once. Agents run live on paid plans, from Basic ($39/mo).

Apps

- SlackLive
Checklist
- A paid plan (agents run live on paid plans).
- An AI provider key (Settings → AI Providers).
- Google Sheets and Slack, connected in Settings → Integrations.
- A bank-feed export, card tool, processor or script that can send each transaction to a webhook URL.
Setup, about 20 minutes
- Connect your AI provider. The AI steps run on your own key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and more). Add one in Settings → AI Providers.
- Connect Google Sheets. Connect the Google account that can edit your ledger spreadsheet (Settings → Integrations → Google Sheets).
- Connect Slack. Connect the Slack workspace your finance team uses (Settings → Integrations → Slack).
- Paste your chart of accounts and tax rules. Open “Categorize the transaction” and replace the placeholder with your accounts, codes, tax rates and review rules.
- Pick your ledger sheet. Open both Google Sheets steps and pick your account, the spreadsheet and the tab. Give the tab a header row: Date, Description, Counterparty, Amount, Currency, Direction, Account, Code, Tax, Confidence, Status, Notes, Transaction id, Source account.
- Pick the Slack account and finance channel. Open “Tell your bookkeeper in Slack” and pick your account and channel. Invite the app to private channels first (/invite @Fluxo Flow).
- Test it with Dry Run. Press Dry Run: the agent runs on sample data with no messages sent and nothing written to your apps.
- Switch the trigger on. Open the trigger, switch the webhook on and have your bank-feed export, card tool or processor send each transaction to its URL.
Is it a fit?
Who it's for, and what it won't do.
Built for
- Small businesses that keep a ledger in Google Sheets
- Bookkeepers serving several small clients
- Founders doing their own books until they hire
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't connect to your bank or pull transactions by itself; they arrive through the webhook.
- It doesn't post entries to QuickBooks, Xero or any ledger: it logs to a Google Sheet your bookkeeper imports or reconciles.
- It never invents accounts or tax rates: it only uses what you paste in, and flags the rest for review.
- It isn't tax advice, and it doesn't send payment reminders or monthly reports.
We list the limits up front so you can decide before you buy.

FAQ
Questions about Bookkeeping & Finance Agent.
What if it codes something wrong?
It only uses accounts and tax rates you paste in, rates its confidence and sends anything unclear to your bookkeeper instead of guessing. You can tune the threshold and try it on sample transactions with Dry Run.
Does it post to QuickBooks or Xero?
No. It logs to a Google Sheet your bookkeeper imports or reconciles against. It also doesn't connect to your bank: transactions arrive one at a time through a webhook from your bank-feed export, card tool or script.
Is this tax advice?
No. It applies the tax rules you give it and flags what it can't place. Your bookkeeper or accountant makes the final call.
Is it worth the price?
It's a one-time purchase that never renews and takes the repetitive coding off your bookkeeper's plate. Setup is about 20 minutes. Live runs need a paid plan and your own AI key; Dry Run is free.
Which columns does the sheet get?
Date, description, counterparty, amount, currency, direction, account, account code, tax treatment, confidence, status, notes, transaction id and source account, in that order (columns A–N). Add a header row with those names.
Can I send a whole bank statement at once?
Send one transaction per webhook call. Most bank-feed and spreadsheet tools can loop over rows and call a webhook for each.
Is this a subscription?
No. Bookkeeping & Finance Agent is a one-time purchase of $129 per workspace and never renews. The Enterprise plan includes it at no extra cost. Running it live needs a paid plan (from Basic ($39/mo)), and your AI provider bills you directly for usage.
Can I test it before it touches real data?
Yes. Once it's set up in your workspace, Dry Run plays every step on sample data with simulated AI and app calls: nothing is sent and nothing in your apps changes. Switch the trigger on only when you're happy.
