Invoice & Quote Generator · Finance
From one sentence to a checked invoice, sent once you approve
Type “invoice Acme for 40 hours at $200 plus 5% tax, net 30”. You get line items, tax and totals recalculated in code (never by the AI) and the next number from your register.
Free account to start. Buying and running live need a paid plan.
- Starts when your form or app sends it something

Sound familiar?
The job, before and after this agent.
What it feels like today
- “Opening an invoicing tool to bill one client feels like a 20-step chore.”
- “A wrong tax total or a duplicate invoice number is embarrassing to fix after it's sent.”
- “I never know which invoice number I'm on without checking the last one.”
What you get with the agent
- Line items, tax and totals built from a one-sentence request, every figure recalculated in code
- The next number taken from your Google Sheets register, with reused numbers and likely duplicates flagged
- Your terms, due dates and payment instructions applied every time
- Missing prices, tax rates or emails posted to Slack instead of guessed
- Approved invoices and quotes emailed to the client and logged in your register
Before
You copy last month's invoice, change the dates, recalculate tax on your phone and hope you didn't reuse a number.
After
You send one sentence. A draft with correct math and the next number waits in Reviews; you check it, approve and it's emailed and logged.
How it works
The whole workflow, step by step.
Send a request like “invoice Acme for 40 hours of consulting at $200/h plus 5% tax, net 30” with the client's name and email through a webhook. AI builds the line items and tax lines, then every line total, the subtotal, tax and total are recalculated in code, never by the AI, takes the next number from your Google Sheets register (flagging numbers already used and likely duplicates), and applies your terms and payment instructions. Missing prices, tax rates or numbers are posted to Slack with the original request instead of guessed. Complete drafts wait in Reviews; once approved they're emailed to the client (replies to your billing inbox) and logged in your Google Sheets register. It sends a plain-text document, not a PDF, and doesn't create invoices in QuickBooks, Xero or Stripe.

This is the workflow that opens in your workspace when you set the agent up. Every step can be edited.
- Step 1New invoice or quote requestYour internal form, Slack workflow or another tool posts the request (one sentence is enough) with the client's name and email to the webhook URL.
- Step 2Read your invoice registerReads the invoices and quotes already in your Google Sheets register, so the next number follows your sequence and duplicates are caught.
- Step 3Work out the datesIn code, not AI: today's date (the issue date), the due or valid-until date for common terms (7, 14, 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 days from today), and the register rows issued in the last 30 days (for the duplicate check). Set timezone to your business's zone (UTC otherwise).
- Step 4Draft the invoice or quoteAI turns the request into line items and tax lines, takes the next number from your register, applies your payment terms and writes the email-ready document (the math is checked in code in the next step).
- Step 5Check the mathRecalculates every line (quantity × unit price), the subtotal, each tax line, the tax total and the total in code — not by AI — writes the correct figures into the invoice and email, and flags anything the AI got wrong for the reviewer.
- Step 6Anything missing?Requests missing a price, rate, number or client email (or with a line the check couldn't price) go back to whoever asked; complete drafts wait for approval.
- Step 7Ask for the missing details in SlackPosts what's missing, with the original request, to your finance channel so the requester can resend a complete request.
- Step 8Waiting for detailsThe run history keeps the request and the partial draft.
- Step 9Approve before it's sentYou check the line items, totals, dates and wording in Reviews, edit if needed and approve; nothing reaches the client before that.
- Step 10Email it to the clientSends the approved invoice or quote to the client from your workspace's sender, with replies going to your billing inbox.
- Step 11SentThe run history keeps the document that was emailed.
- Step 12Log it in your invoice registerAppends the number, client, amounts and due date to your Google Sheets register, so you can track what's outstanding (and the next number follows on).
Example run
What goes in, and what comes out.
Example with fictional data
Comes in
“Invoice Acme Robotics for 40 hours of consulting in September at $200/h plus 5% sales tax, net 30. PO 7781.” (a fictional client)
The agent produces
Draft invoice: 40 × $200 = $8,000, tax $400, total $8,400, due in 30 days, PO 7781 referenced and the next number from your register. Waiting in Reviews, then emailed with replies to your billing inbox.

Is it a fit?
Who it's for, and what it won't do.
Built for
- Consultants and freelancers billing by the hour or project
- Small agencies and studios sending quotes
- Service businesses without a full accounting suite
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't create PDFs, or invoices in QuickBooks, Xero or Stripe; it emails a plain-text document and logs it in a sheet.
- It doesn't take payments or create payment links: it includes the payment link or bank details you provide.
- It never emails a client without a person approving first.
- It doesn't chase overdue invoices or track payments.
- Numbering relies on your register: very large registers (several thousand rows) can't be read in one go, so archive old rows to another tab; when the register can't be read, the number is asked for instead of guessed.
We list the limits up front so you can decide before you buy.

FAQ
Questions about Invoice & Quote Generator.
What if the math or details are wrong?
Every line, the tax and the total are recalculated in code before anyone sees them, any AI mistake is flagged, and nothing is emailed until someone approves it. If a price, tax rate or email is missing, it asks in Slack rather than guessing.
Does it create PDFs or invoices in QuickBooks or Stripe?
No. It emails a clear plain-text invoice or quote and logs it in a Google Sheet. It includes the payment link or bank details you provide, and it doesn't chase overdue invoices.
How long is setup?
About 15 minutes: connect Slack and Google Sheets, paste your business details and terms, and pick your register sheet.
Is it worth paying for?
It's a one-time purchase that never renews and replaces the copy-edit-recalculate routine on every invoice. Live runs need a paid plan and your own AI key; Dry Run is free.
Does it create a PDF or an invoice in QuickBooks?
No. It emails a clear plain-text invoice or quote and logs it in a Google Sheet. If you need the invoice in your accounting system, enter it there from the register.
Can it take payment?
Only through the payment link or bank details you put in your business details; it doesn't create Stripe payment links by itself.
Is anything sent without me checking?
No. Every invoice and quote waits in Reviews until someone approves it.
Can the AI get the totals wrong?
Not in what your client sees: after the AI drafts, every line (quantity × unit price), the subtotal, each tax line and the total are recalculated in code and written into the invoice, the email and the register row. If the AI's math was off, the review screen shows what was corrected (e.g. “subtotal 8200.00 → 8000.00”).
Is this a subscription?
No. Invoice & Quote Generator is a one-time purchase of $59 per workspace and never renews. The Enterprise plan includes it at no extra cost. Running it live needs a paid plan (from Basic ($39/mo)), and your AI provider bills you directly for usage.
Can I test it before it touches real data?
Yes. Once it's set up in your workspace, Dry Run plays every step on sample data with simulated AI and app calls: nothing is sent and nothing in your apps changes. Switch the trigger on only when you're happy.
