Spreadsheets & databases integration

Google Sheets integration for AI workflows.

Log leads, sync data and react to new rows in Google Sheets.

Live

In short

Fluxo Flow connects to Google Sheets by signing in to Google; workflows can add a row, read rows and find a row and more, and start from new row. The integration is live.

Live means tested end to end against real accounts. Found a problem? Tell us.

What you can do

Actions and triggers for Google Sheets.

Actions

  • Add a row

Adds a row at the bottom of a sheet.

  • Read rows

Reads the rows of a sheet as objects keyed by the header row.

  • Find a row

Finds the first row where a column equals a value.

  • Update a row

Overwrites cells in one row, starting at a column (e.g. mark a row done). Other cells are left as they are.

Triggers

  • New row (checked on your plan's schedule interval)

Starts a run for each row added at the bottom of a sheet (checked on your plan's schedule interval).

Use cases

What teams build with Google Sheets.

  • Daily digest from a tracker

    1. Scheduled trigger (weekdays 7:30)
    2. Google Sheets: Read rows
    3. AI Generate: overdue, due today, blocked
    4. Slack: Post a message
  • Log every lead

    1. Webhook trigger (form)
    2. AI Generate: clean the fields
    3. Google Sheets: Add a row
  • React to new rows

    1. Google Sheets: New row
    2. Router: by region column
    3. Slack: Post to that team's channel
  • Look up before you act

    1. Webhook trigger (order)
    2. Google Sheets: Find a row (customer tier)
    3. Router: VIP?
    4. Send Email

Step-by-step guides: Automate weekly client reports (that a person still approves)

How to connect

Connect Google Sheets in a minute.

Connects by signing in to Google. Tokens are encrypted and renewed automatically.

  1. Open Settings → Integrations and click Connect on Google Sheets.
  2. Sign in with the Google account that can open your spreadsheets and allow Sheets access.
  3. In a workflow, paste the spreadsheet link and pick the sheet.

What you need on the Google Sheets side

  • A Google account that can open the spreadsheet. Google Workspace admins can restrict third-party app access; if connecting fails, ask your admin to allow Fluxo Flow.
  • Until Google completes its verification of the app, the consent screen may show an unverified-app notice before you continue.

Permissions & limits

What it can access, and how fast it runs.

Permissions requested

  • Read and write spreadsheets

    https://www.googleapis.com/auth/spreadsheets

  • Show which Google account is connected

    openid, email, profile

Limits and timing

  • Polling triggers are checked on your plan's schedule interval: Basic every 15 minutes, Pro every 5 minutes, Business every 2 minutes, Elite every minute.
  • If Google Sheets says to slow down (HTTP 429 or 503), requests wait as told and retry a limited number of times.
  • The first row is read as the header; rows inserted in the middle or deleted can shift row numbers, so append new data at the end.

FAQ

Google Sheets questions, answered.

Do you get access to all my Google Drive files?

No. For Sheets, Fluxo Flow asks for spreadsheet access (plus your email address to label the connection) and only reads or writes the spreadsheets your workflows point to. One Google connection is shared by all Google apps in Fluxo Flow, so Google's consent screen also lists the other Google apps (Gmail sending, Calendar, Docs…) — Drive access is limited to files Fluxo Flow creates.

How does the new-row trigger work?

It checks the sheet on your plan's schedule interval and starts one run per row added at the bottom since the last check. Rows inserted in the middle or deleted can shift row numbers, so append new data at the end.

Is the Google Sheets integration ready to use?

Yes. Google Sheets is live: connect it in Settings → Integrations on any plan, including Free (on Free you can build with it and Dry Run; running it live needs a paid plan).

What happens if the connection expires?

Access tokens are renewed automatically. If Google Sheets revokes access (for example, the person who connected it leaves), steps that use the connection fail and show the error in the run trace; reconnect in Settings → Integrations.

Can I call Google Sheets endpoints the integration doesn't cover?

Yes, if Google Sheets has an API: save a key in the encrypted credential vault and call it with an HTTP Request step.

Can I test a workflow without touching my real data?

Yes. Dry Run walks through every step with simulated app calls, so nothing is sent until you run it for real or activate its trigger.
