Sound familiar?

The job, before and after this agent.

What it feels like today

  • “My inbox is a mix of urgent customer emails, newsletters and phishing, and I read all of it.”
  • “Half my morning goes on writing replies that all start the same way.”
  • “An urgent email from a client sat unread for hours because I was in meetings.”

What you get with the agent

  • Every new email sorted into needs reply, urgent, FYI or junk, with likely phishing flagged
  • A two-sentence summary of who wants what, by when
  • Reply drafts in your voice saved to Outlook Drafts, with [placeholders] wherever a fact or decision is yours
  • Urgent emails pinged to your Slack channel or DM with a link to open them
  • Your inbox left exactly as it is: nothing moved, labeled, deleted or sent

Before

You open Outlook to dozens of unread emails, triage them one by one and type every reply from a blank page.

After

Urgent emails already pinged you in Slack. The ones that need a reply have a draft in your Drafts folder; you fill the placeholders, adjust and press send.

How it works

The whole workflow, step by step.

Starts from each new email in your Outlook Inbox (checked on your plan's schedule interval). AI sorts it into needs reply, urgent, FYI or junk, flags likely phishing, and summarises who wants what by when. For emails that need an answer, a reply draft in your voice is saved in your Outlook Drafts folder, with [placeholders] wherever a fact or decision is yours. Urgent emails also ping your Slack channel with a link to open them. It never sends email, and it doesn't move, label or delete anything; drafts are new emails to the sender, not replies inside the original thread.

Example run

What goes in, and what comes out.

Example with fictional data

Comes in

Email from a fictional client, Maria Chen: “Shipment 4471 has shown ‘at hub’ in Dallas since Friday. Our store opens Thursday. Can you tell me today when it will arrive?”

The agent produces

Sorted urgent, deadline today. Slack ping with the summary and a link. A draft in Drafts acknowledges the Thursday opening and promises an update with [expected delivery date], for you to confirm before sending.

What you need

Everything it takes to run it.

About 15 minutes from purchase to live. A checklist above the canvas takes you through each step.

Plan

Included in Enterprise; on other paid plans it's $99 once. Agents run live on paid plans, from Basic ($39/mo).

Connect any of 14 AI providers on your own key. Your provider bills usage directly, at cost; we add no markup.

Apps

Checklist

  • A paid plan (agents run live on paid plans).
  • An AI provider key (Settings → AI Providers).
  • Outlook Mail (Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com) and Slack, connected in Settings → Integrations.

Setup, about 15 minutes

  1. Connect your AI provider. The AI steps run on your own key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and more). Add one in Settings → AI Providers.
  2. Connect Outlook Mail. Connect your Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com mailbox in Settings → Integrations → Outlook Mail (some companies need an IT admin to approve Fluxo Flow first).
  3. Connect Slack. Connect your Slack workspace (Settings → Integrations → Slack).
  4. Describe yourself and your inbox. Open “Sort the email and draft a reply” and replace the placeholder.
  5. Pick your Outlook account. Pick your mailbox on the trigger and in “Save a reply draft in Outlook”.
  6. Pick the Slack account and channel. Open “Ping you in Slack” and pick your account and channel. Invite the app to private channels first (/invite @Fluxo Flow).
  7. Test it with Dry Run. Press Dry Run: the agent runs on sample data with no messages sent and nothing written to your apps.
  8. Switch the trigger on. Open the trigger and click “Activate app trigger”: new Inbox emails are checked on your plan's schedule interval.

Is it a fit?

Who it's for, and what it won't do.

Built for

  • Owners and managers who live in Microsoft 365
  • Account managers handling a busy shared or client inbox
  • Operations leads who need to catch urgent customer emails fast

What it doesn't do

  • It never sends email: drafts only, you send from Outlook.
  • It doesn't move, label, flag or delete emails.
  • The draft is a new email to the sender with “Re:” in the subject, not a reply inside the original thread.
  • It doesn't read attachments, and it isn't instant (checked on your plan's schedule interval).
  • It works with Outlook only; a Gmail version waits for the Gmail inbox connector.

We list the limits up front so you can decide before you buy.

FAQ

Questions about Outlook Inbox Triage.

Will it send email for me?

No. It only saves drafts, and it puts placeholders where a fact or commitment is yours instead of inventing one. You read, edit and send from Outlook. Drafts are new emails to the sender with “Re:” in the subject, not replies inside the thread.

What does it need?

Outlook Mail (Microsoft 365 or Outlook.com), Slack, a paid plan and your own AI key, with about 15 minutes of setup. It checks the inbox on your plan's schedule interval and doesn't read attachments. The agent's page shows whether each app is ready to connect.

Is it worth the price?

It's a one-time purchase that never renews, and it removes the sorting and first-draft writing you do every day. Dry Run is free, so you can see its drafts on a sample email first.

Will it send emails for me?

No. It only saves drafts in your Outlook Drafts folder; you read, edit and send them yourself.

Does it move or label emails?

No. Your inbox stays exactly as it is; the category is in the Slack alert and the run history.

Is this a subscription?

No. Outlook Inbox Triage is a one-time purchase of $99 per workspace and never renews. The Enterprise plan includes it at no extra cost. Running it live needs a paid plan (from Basic ($39/mo)), and your AI provider bills you directly for usage.

Can I test it before it touches real data?

Yes. Once it's set up in your workspace, Dry Run plays every step on sample data with simulated AI and app calls: nothing is sent and nothing in your apps changes. Switch the trigger on only when you're happy.
