Email integration

Outlook Mail integration for AI workflows.

Send and answer email from Outlook and react to new messages in any folder.

Beta

In short

Fluxo Flow connects to Outlook Mail by signing in to Microsoft 365; workflows can send an email, create a draft and reply to an email and more, and start from new email. The integration is in beta.

Beta means it works but hasn't been tested against every account setup yet; actions and fields may still change. Found a problem? Tell us.

What you can do

Actions and triggers for Outlook Mail.

Actions

  • Send an email

Sends an email from the connected Outlook mailbox.

  • Create a draft

Saves an email in Drafts for a person to review and send.

  • Reply to an email

Replies to an email (keeps the conversation thread). Use the email id from the New email trigger or Find emails.

  • Find emails

Searches the mailbox (subject, body, sender…) and returns the best matches.

Triggers

  • New email (checked on your plan's schedule interval)

Starts a run for each email that arrives in a folder (checked on your plan's schedule interval). Emails already there when the workflow is turned on are skipped.

How to connect

Connect Outlook Mail in a minute.

Connects by signing in to Microsoft 365. Tokens are encrypted and renewed automatically.

  1. Open Settings → Integrations and click Connect on Outlook Mail.
  2. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 (work or personal) account and accept the permissions. Some organisations need an IT admin to approve Fluxo Flow first.
  3. Add an Outlook step, or the New email trigger with the folder to watch.

Permissions & limits

What it can access, and how fast it runs.

Permissions requested

  • Send email and replies

    Mail.Send

  • Create drafts, find emails and the New email trigger

    Mail.ReadWrite

  • Show which Microsoft account is connected; stay connected

    User.Read, offline_access

Limits and timing

  • Polling triggers are checked on your plan's schedule interval: Basic every 15 minutes, Pro every 5 minutes, Business every 2 minutes, Elite every minute.
  • If Outlook Mail says to slow down (HTTP 429 or 503), requests wait as told and retry a limited number of times.

FAQ

Outlook Mail questions, answered.

Does it work with personal Outlook.com accounts?

Yes — work/school Microsoft 365 accounts and personal Outlook.com/Hotmail accounts both work.

My company account says an admin must approve the app.

Your organisation only lets admins approve new apps. Ask your IT admin to approve Fluxo Flow (they can do it for everyone at once), then connect again.

Can it read attachments?

The trigger tells you whether an email has attachments; downloading them isn't supported yet.

Is the Outlook Mail integration finished?

It's in beta: it works, but it hasn't been tested against every account setup yet. Tell us if something doesn't behave as expected.

Can I use Outlook Mail on the Free plan?

You can connect it, build with it and Dry Run on the Free plan. Running workflows live (triggers, schedules, webhooks) needs a paid plan.

What happens if the connection expires?

Access tokens are renewed automatically. If Outlook Mail revokes access (for example, the person who connected it leaves), steps that use the connection fail and show the error in the run trace; reconnect in Settings → Integrations.

Can I call Outlook Mail endpoints the integration doesn't cover?

Yes, if Outlook Mail has an API: save a key in the encrypted credential vault and call it with an HTTP Request step.

Can I test a workflow without touching my real data?

Yes. Dry Run walks through every step with simulated app calls, so nothing is sent until you run it for real or activate its trigger.
