The job, before and after this agent.
What it feels like today
- “Writing a SAR narrative from scratch takes the best part of a day.”
- “We find missing case data right before the filing deadline.”
- “Drafts and checklists end up scattered across email and shared drives.”
What you get with the agent
- A filing draft (SAR, CTR or others you define) under the procedures you paste in, filled only from the case data
- A factual, chronological SAR narrative with no invented facts
- Missing and inconsistent data listed, with gapped drafts posted to your compliance channel to complete
- A deadline note worked out from your rule and the detection date
- Officer review in Reviews, then the draft saved to your Notion filings database with a pre-filing checklist
Before
An analyst copies transactions from the case system into a document and writes the narrative while the deadline clock runs.
After
The officer opens a structured draft with the narrative written from the case data, totals checked and gaps listed, edits it and files it in the regulator's system.
How it works
The whole workflow, step by step.
Receives each case from your case-management system or an analyst's form through a webhook. AI drafts the filing under the procedures you paste in: fields filled only from the case data, a factual chronological narrative for SARs, missing and inconsistent data, and the deadline worked out from your rule and the detection date. Drafts with gaps are posted to your compliance channel in Slack; complete drafts wait in Reviews for a compliance officer and are saved to your Notion filings database once reviewed. It never decides whether to file and never submits anything: the officer files in the regulator's system.

This is the workflow that opens in your workspace when you set the agent up. Every step can be edited.
- Step 1Case ready for a filing draftYour case-management system or a compliance analyst's form posts the case (filing type, subject, transactions, investigation notes) to the webhook URL.
- Step 2Work out the deadlinesIn code, not AI: the filing due dates from the case's dates — SAR 30 calendar days after detection (60 when no subject is identified), CTR 15 days after the transaction — and how many days are left. Change the day counts here (add.days) to match current regulations and your procedures.
- Step 3Draft the filingAI drafts the filing's fields and narrative from the case data under your filing procedures and lists missing or inconsistent data; the deadline comes from the dates worked out in code.
- Step 4Complete draft?Drafts with missing or inconsistent data go back to the case owner in Slack; complete drafts go to a compliance officer for review.
- Step 5Ask for the missing case data in SlackPosts the case id, what's missing or inconsistent and the deadline note to your compliance channel.
- Step 6Waiting for case dataThe run history keeps the partial draft.
- Step 7Compliance officer reviews the draftThe officer checks every field and the narrative against the case file, edits them and approves to save the draft; filing is done by the officer in the regulator's system.
- Step 8Save the reviewed draft in NotionCreates a page in your filings database with the fields, narrative, deadline note and checklist, ready for the officer to file.
Example run
What goes in, and what comes out.
Example with fictional data
Comes in
A fictional SAR case: a business account with several cash deposits just under $10,000 at different branches over a month, plus an outgoing wire.
The agent produces
Draft with subject and account details from the case, a chronological narrative listing each deposit and the wire, the deadline computed from the detection date, and a note that one transaction's branch is missing. Posted to the compliance channel to complete.
What you need
Everything it takes to run it.
About 25 minutes from purchase to live. A checklist above the canvas takes you through each step.
Plan
Included in Enterprise; on other paid plans it's $179 once. Agents run live on paid plans, from Basic ($39/mo).
Your AI key
Connect any of 14 AI providers on your own key. Your provider bills usage directly, at cost; we add no markup.
Checklist
- A paid plan (agents run live on paid plans).
- An AI provider key (Settings → AI Providers).
- Slack and Notion, connected in Settings → Integrations.
- A case-management system or form that can send case data to a webhook URL.
Setup, about 25 minutes
- Connect your AI provider. The AI steps run on your own key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and more). Add one in Settings → AI Providers.
- Connect Slack. Connect the Slack workspace your compliance team uses (Settings → Integrations → Slack).
- Connect Notion. Connect Notion and share your filings database with the Fluxo Flow connection (Settings → Integrations → Notion).
- Paste your filing procedures. Open “Draft the filing” and replace the placeholder with your procedures. Check the deadline day counts in “Work out the deadlines”.
- Pick the Slack account and compliance channel. Open “Ask for the missing case data in Slack” and pick your account and a private channel. Invite the app to private channels first (/invite @Fluxo Flow).
- Pick your Notion filings database. Open “Save the reviewed draft in Notion” and pick your account and database.
- Test it with Dry Run. Press Dry Run: the agent runs on sample data with no messages sent and nothing written to your apps.
- Switch the trigger on. Open the trigger, switch the webhook on and have your case-management system or analysts' form send cases to its URL.
Is it a fit?
Who it's for, and what it won't do.
Built for
- BSA / AML officers at community banks and credit unions
- Compliance teams at money-services businesses and fintechs
- Financial-crime analysts preparing filings
What it doesn't do
- It never submits a filing (no BSA E-Filing, OFAC or other portal connection): a compliance officer reviews, files and owns every report.
- It doesn't decide whether a filing is required, or watch your systems for reportable events; it drafts from the cases you send.
- It only uses the case data you send and never fills a missing field with a guess; deadline notes must be confirmed against current regulations.
- It doesn't track retention periods or prepare call reports.
We list the limits up front so you can decide before you buy.

FAQ
Questions about Regulatory Filing Draft Assistant.
Does it decide whether to file, or submit the filing?
No. Your institution decides whether a filing is required, and a compliance officer reviews, files in the regulator's own system and owns every report. There's no portal connection.
What if it gets facts wrong?
It uses only the case data you send, never fills a missing field with a guess, and flags inconsistencies like totals that don't add up. Every draft is reviewed by an officer, and deadline notes should be confirmed against current regulations.
Where is the data kept?
In the run history and the Notion database you choose; restrict that database to your compliance team.
What's needed, and is it worth it?
About 25 minutes to set up with Slack, Notion and a webhook from your case system or form. It's a one-time purchase that never renews that takes the first-draft writing off your analysts. Live runs need a paid plan and your own AI key.
Does it submit to FinCEN or other regulators?
No. It prepares a draft. A compliance officer reviews it and files it in the regulator's own system (e.g. BSA E-Filing).
Does it decide whether a SAR is needed?
No. That decision belongs to your institution. Send a case once you've decided to prepare a filing.
Is this a subscription?
No. Regulatory Filing Draft Assistant is a one-time purchase of $179 per workspace and never renews. The Enterprise plan includes it at no extra cost. Running it live needs a paid plan (from Basic ($39/mo)), and your AI provider bills you directly for usage.
Can I test it before it touches real data?
Yes. Once it's set up in your workspace, Dry Run plays every step on sample data with simulated AI and app calls: nothing is sent and nothing in your apps changes. Switch the trigger on only when you're happy.
