Productivity integration

Notion integration for AI workflows.

Log tickets, projects and notes to Notion databases, and react when pages are added or edited.

Live

In short

Fluxo Flow connects to Notion by signing in to Notion; workflows can create a page in a database, query a database and update page properties and more, and start from new page in database and new or updated page in database. The integration is live.

Live means tested end to end against real accounts. Found a problem? Tell us.

What you can do

Actions and triggers for Notion.

Actions

  • Create a page in a database

Adds a page (row) to a database, with a title, optional properties and paragraph text.

  • Query a database

Lists pages of a database, optionally filtered and sorted.

  • Update page properties

Changes properties of a page (a database row): status, dates, people, numbers…

  • Add content to a page

Appends text to the end of a page as paragraphs, bullets, to-dos or headings (or raw blocks JSON).

  • Get a page

Reads a page's properties (e.g. to check a status before acting).

  • Read a page's text

Reads the text of a page (paragraphs, headings, lists, to-dos, quotes, callouts, code) as plain text, e.g. a policy or FAQ page for an AI step. Reads the page's top-level blocks only: text nested inside toggles or sub-lists isn't included.

  • Search

Finds pages or databases shared with Fluxo Flow by title.

Triggers

  • New page in database (checked on your plan's schedule interval)

Starts a run for each page (row) added to a database. Checked on your plan's schedule interval.

  • New or updated page in database (checked on your plan's schedule interval)

Starts a run each time a page in a database is added or edited (edits within the same minute count once). Checked on your plan's schedule interval.

How to connect

Connect Notion in a minute.

Connects by signing in to Notion. Tokens are encrypted and renewed automatically.

  1. Open Settings → Integrations and click Connect on Notion.
  2. Pick the pages and databases Fluxo Flow may use.
  3. In Notion, databases added later need ••• → Connections → Fluxo Flow.

What you need on the Notion side

  • Share each page or database with Fluxo Flow in Notion (••• → Connections → Fluxo Flow); Notion only shows integrations the pages shared with them.

Permissions & limits

What it can access, and how fast it runs.

Permissions requested

  • Everything (Notion uses page sharing, not scopes): read content, update content, insert content

Limits and timing

  • Polling triggers are checked on your plan's schedule interval: Basic every 15 minutes, Pro every 5 minutes, Business every 2 minutes, Elite every minute.
  • Notion triggers check at most every 2 minutes, whatever your plan, to respect Notion's limits.
  • Calls to Notion are paced at up to 3 per second.
  • If Notion says to slow down (HTTP 429 or 503), requests wait as told and retry a limited number of times.
  • Database triggers check at most every 2 minutes to stay within Notion's rate limit, and several edits to one page within the same minute start one run.

FAQ

Notion questions, answered.

Why don't I see my database in the list?

Notion only shows Fluxo Flow the pages you share with it. Open the database in Notion, click ••• → Connections and add Fluxo Flow.

How quickly do the database triggers fire?

They check the database on your plan's schedule interval (at most every 2 minutes, to stay within Notion's rate limit). Notion records times to the minute, so several edits to one page within the same minute start one run.

Is the Notion integration ready to use?

Yes. Notion is live: connect it in Settings → Integrations on any plan, including Free (on Free you can build with it and Dry Run; running it live needs a paid plan).

What happens if the connection expires?

Access tokens are renewed automatically. If Notion revokes access (for example, the person who connected it leaves), steps that use the connection fail and show the error in the run trace; reconnect in Settings → Integrations.

Can I call Notion endpoints the integration doesn't cover?

Yes, if Notion has an API: save a key in the encrypted credential vault and call it with an HTTP Request step.

Can I test a workflow without touching my real data?

Yes. Dry Run walks through every step with simulated app calls, so nothing is sent until you run it for real or activate its trigger.
