Sound familiar?

The job, before and after this agent.

What it feels like today

  • “Group leaders improvise questions because the guide is never ready.”
  • “Writing a discussion guide every week falls on the pastor's day off.”
  • “Our newsletter and social posts never connect back to Sunday.”

What you get with the agent

  • Writes a one-paragraph summary, 5–7 discussion questions from observation to application, a prayer prompt and leader notes.
  • Adds a newsletter blurb and 3 social posts from the same message.
  • Uses only what was preached and lists any Scripture reference that wasn't in the transcript, so the pastor can remove it.
  • The pastor reviews and edits everything before anyone sees it.
  • The approved guide is saved to Notion and posted to your group leaders in Slack.

Before

Wednesday night a group leader texts asking for questions. You pull something together from memory, and the newsletter blurb gets skipped again.

After

Monday morning the guide is in Notion and in the leaders' channel: summary, questions, prayer prompt and notes, all approved, plus a blurb and posts ready to use.

How it works

The whole workflow, step by step.

Post the sermon's transcript or notes with the passage and series from your form or site. AI writes a one-paragraph summary, 5–7 discussion questions from observation to application, a prayer prompt, leader notes, a newsletter blurb and 3 social posts, using only what was preached — no added theology, quotes or verse references, and it lists any reference that wasn't in the transcript. The pastor reviews and edits it, then it's saved to your Notion sermons database and posted to your group leaders in Slack. It works from text (a transcript or notes), not audio, and doesn't publish to social media.

Who it's for, and what it won't do.

Built for

What it doesn't do

  • It adds no theology, quotes or verse references that weren't preached, and the pastor approves every guide.

FAQ

Questions about Sermon → Small-Group Guide.

Will it add theology we didn't preach?

It's told to use only what was preached, lists any reference that wasn't in the transcript, and the pastor approves every guide before anyone sees it.

Can it use our audio or video?

No. Send a transcript or full notes as text, for example from your video or podcast host's captions.

How long does setup take?

About 15 minutes: connect Notion and Slack, describe your church and groups, and pick the sermons database and leaders' channel.

Is it worth paying for?

It's a one-time purchase that never renews, set against writing a guide every week. You need a paid plan and your own AI key; Dry Run is free.

What should the form send?

A JSON POST with sermon_title, series, passage, preacher, date (YYYY-MM-DD) and transcript (the transcript or full notes as text). Your form or site posts it with the webhook's signature header. Use a transcript from your video or podcast host; the agent doesn't turn audio into text.

Will it add Bible verses or theology?

No. It's told to use only what was preached and lists any reference it used that wasn't in the transcript, so the pastor can remove it before approving.

What Notion database do I need?

A database with the properties Name (title), Series (text), Passage (text), Preacher (text), Date (date), Status (select), shared with the Fluxo Flow integration (••• → Connections).

Is this a subscription?

No. Sermon → Small-Group Guide is a one-time purchase of $79 per workspace and never renews. The Enterprise plan includes it at no extra cost. Running it live needs a paid plan (from Basic ($39/mo)), and your AI provider bills you directly for usage.

Can I test it before it touches real data?

Yes. Once it's set up in your workspace, Dry Run plays every step on sample data with simulated AI and app calls: nothing is sent and nothing in your apps changes. Switch the trigger on only when you're happy.
