Sound familiar?
The job, before and after this agent.
What it feels like today
- “Techs forget to ask for reviews, so the only reviews come from unhappy customers.”
- “Generic review blasts feel spammy and get ignored.”
- “We once asked a customer with an open callback for a review.”
What you get with the agent
- Starts on each new Housecall Pro invoice and checks the job is complete with a mobile number on file.
- Skips jobs whose notes show a complaint, callback, warranty dispute or refund.
- A short, personal thank-you naming the work done, with your review link and no incentives.
- Sent at least 2 hours after invoicing, inside your sending hours, from your Twilio number.
- Optional approval on every text; texts with mixed job notes always wait for a person.
Before
Great furnace repair on Monday. Nobody asks for a review. By Friday the only new review is from the customer whose part was backordered.
After
Two hours after the invoice, the customer gets a text thanking them for having the furnace ignitor replaced, with your review link.
How it works
The whole workflow, step by step.
Starts on each new invoice in Housecall Pro and reads the job. AI checks the work is complete and the customer has a mobile number, skips jobs whose notes show a complaint, callback, warranty dispute or refund, and writes a short, personal thank-you that mentions the work done and asks for a Google review with your link (no incentives). It waits until a good send time, at least 2 hours after invoicing and inside your sending hours, then texts the customer from your Twilio number. Approval is optional: turn it on for every text, and texts with mixed job notes always wait for a person. It judges happiness only from the job and invoice data.

This is the workflow that opens in your workspace when you set the agent up. Every step can be edited.
- Step 1New invoice in Housecall ProStarts a run for each invoice created in Housecall Pro (checked every few minutes).
- Step 2Read the jobReads the invoiced job from Housecall Pro: the customer, their mobile number, the work done and its status.
- Step 3Write the thank-you textAI checks the job is done and the customer can be texted, watches for signs of an unhappy customer, picks a send time inside your sending hours and writes a short, personal thank-you with your Google review link.
- Step 4Send, review or skip?Jobs that aren't done, customers without a mobile number and signs of a complaint are skipped; texts that need a look go to Reviews; the rest are scheduled.
- Step 5Not sentThe run history keeps the job and why no text was sent.
- Step 6Check the textWhen you review every text (or the job notes look mixed), a teammate reads the text in Reviews, edits it and approves it, or rejects it.
- Step 7Not approvedRejected texts are kept in the run history; nothing was sent.
- Step 8Wait until the send timeHolds the text until the send time the AI picked (at least 2 hours after invoicing, inside your sending hours).
- Step 9Text the customerSends the thank-you text with your Google review link from your Twilio number.
- Step 10Text sentThe run history keeps the text and Twilio's message ID.

Hi Dana, thanks for having us out to replace your furnace ignitor today. If we kept you warm, a quick Google review would mean a lot: [your link]. Sent mid-afternoon, inside your hours.

FAQ
Questions about Job-Done Review Request.
Which apps does it need?
Housecall Pro and Twilio. Housecall Pro's API needs its MAX plan. The agent's page shows whether each app is ready to connect.
Will it text an unhappy customer?
It judges only from the job and invoice data: complaint, callback, warranty or refund notes are skipped and mixed notes wait for you. It can't know how a customer feels beyond that.
Can I approve each text?
Yes, switch on approval for every text. Texting consent and A2P 10DLC registration stay your responsibility.
Setup and cost?
About 15 minutes once the apps are connected. A one-time unlock that never renews; live runs need a paid plan and your own AI key, and Dry Run is free.
Can I approve every text first?
Yes. Write “Review every text: yes” in the business details. By default only texts with mixed job notes wait for approval.
Does it filter out unhappy customers?
Only from what the job and invoice show (notes about complaints, callbacks, refunds). It can't know how the customer feels otherwise.
Is this a subscription?
No. Job-Done Review Request is a one-time purchase of $69 per workspace and never renews. The Enterprise plan includes it at no extra cost. Running it live needs a paid plan (from Basic ($39/mo)), and your AI provider bills you directly for usage.
Can I test it before it touches real data?
Yes. Once it's set up in your workspace, Dry Run plays every step on sample data with simulated AI and app calls: nothing is sent and nothing in your apps changes. Switch the trigger on only when you're happy.
