Sound familiar?
The job, before and after this agent.
What it feels like today
- “Associates spend hours filling in NDAs and engagement letters.”
- “Drafts drift from our approved language when people start from old documents.”
- “Requests arrive missing half the facts, and we only notice halfway through drafting.”
What you get with the agent
- The matching approved template picked and its variables filled from the brief, with template language unchanged
- Alternative clauses chosen only where the brief supports them, such as by jurisdiction
- Every missing detail marked [CONFIRM] and listed, with a short cover note on the template and choices used
- Incomplete briefs, or requests with no matching template, sent back to the requester by email
- The supervising attorney reviews and edits each draft; approved drafts are saved to Notion
Before
An associate finds last year's NDA, swaps the party names, misses a clause that changed, and sends it up for review.
After
The attorney receives a draft built from the current approved template, with every open point marked [CONFIRM] and the choices explained.
How it works
The whole workflow, step by step.
Each drafting brief your form sends in (NDA, engagement letter, demand letter, contractor agreement, or any document you have a template for) is drafted by AI strictly from your firm's approved templates and clause library: variables filled from the brief, template language unchanged, and every missing detail marked [CONFIRM] for the attorney. Briefs missing key facts, or for a document you have no template for, go back to the requester by email. The supervising attorney reviews and edits each draft, and the approved draft is saved to your Notion drafts database. It never drafts from its own knowledge and doesn't send documents out.

This is the workflow that opens in your workspace when you set the agent up. Every step can be edited.
- Step 1Drafting requestYour intake form posts each drafting brief (document type, parties, key terms, jurisdiction, requester) to the workflow's webhook URL.
- Step 2Draft from your approved templateAI picks your firm's approved template for the document type, fills it from the brief, keeps template language unchanged and marks every point the attorney must confirm.
- Step 3Can it be drafted?Briefs missing key information, or with no approved template, go back to the requester by email.
- Step 4Ask the requester for what's missingEmails the requester what's missing from the brief, or that there's no approved template for this document type.
- Step 5Sent back to the requesterThe run history keeps the brief and what was missing.
- Step 6Attorney reviews the draftThe supervising attorney reads the draft and the items to confirm in Reviews, edits it and approves saving it to Notion as a working draft.
- Step 7Save the draft to NotionCreates a page in your Notion drafts database with the cover note, items to confirm and the full draft.
- Step 8Draft savedThe run history keeps the draft and the Notion page link.

Example with fictional data
Comes in
A fictional brief: mutual NDA between Northwind Robotics and Kestrel Analytics, 3-year term, California law, purpose: evaluating a warehouse-automation pilot.
The agent produces
Draft from your mutual NDA template with parties, term, purpose and California governing-law clause filled in. Signatory names and titles are missing, so they're marked [CONFIRM] and listed for the attorney.

- Test it with Dry Run. Press Dry Run: the agent runs on sample data with no messages sent and nothing written to your apps.
