In short
Power Automate is the natural choice when your team lives in Microsoft 365, needs approvals inside Outlook and Teams, or has to automate Windows desktop apps with RPA. Fluxo Flow suits small teams and agencies that work across tools: plans are per workspace instead of per user, AI runs on your own key from any of our providers, and every workflow can be dry-run before it goes live.
| Fact | Fluxo Flow | Power Automate |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | Flat plans by number of workflows and seats. | Licensed per user (Premium) or per bot (Process, Hosted Process), paid yearly; not priced by runs. |
| What's metered | Nothing per run, task or step. Plans limit workflows, seats and how often schedules can run. | Licences are counted, not runs: one Premium licence per user, one Process licence per unattended bot. |
| Your own AI key / model | Built in: bring your own key from 14 providers. Your provider bills you at their price; we add no markup and sell no AI credits. | Not listed on their official pages. |
| Human approvals | Human Review node and a built-in review queue on every plan. | Built-in Approvals actions (everyone, first to respond, custom responses, sequential). Approvers respond from Outlook, a Teams adaptive card or the Power Automate action center. The Approvals connector is a standard connector, so Office 365 licences that include Power Automate can use it. |

Switching
Rebuild a Power Automate flow in Fluxo Flow.
Power Automate flows don't import into Fluxo Flow, so there's no automatic conversion. Here's how to rebuild a flow step by step on the canvas, or start from a template.
Export the flow's logic, not the file
Power Automate flow packages don't convert to Fluxo Flow. Open the flow and list the trigger, each action, Conditions and Approvals, and the connectors each step uses.
Recreate the trigger
Use a Scheduled Trigger for recurrence, a Webhook Trigger (with a secret or HMAC signature) for HTTP requests, or an App event trigger where we have a connector, such as Outlook Mail's new-email trigger (beta).
Replace Approvals with Human Review
A Human Review node pauses the run until someone approves, edits or rejects the item in the Review Queue, with assignees, priority and a timeout path. Review alerts appear in the app; there's no Outlook or Teams approval card.
Swap AI Builder and Copilot steps for AI nodes on your key
Connect your own provider key (Azure OpenAI is one of the options) and use AI Generate or Agent steps. Your provider bills you directly; we add no markup.
Dry Run before you switch
Dry Run the workflow on a real sample with every side effect simulated, check the trace, then turn it on and turn the flow off.
FAQ
Fluxo Flow vs Power Automate: questions.
Is Fluxo Flow cheaper than Power Automate?
It depends on your usage. Power Automate charges per user licence, while Fluxo Flow charges a flat plan (paid plans start at $39/mo) and your AI provider bills you directly at cost. For small, simple workflows Power Automate can cost less; for high-volume, many-step or AI-heavy workflows a flat plan can cost less. Try the cost calculator with your own numbers.
How does Power Automate count usage compared with Fluxo Flow?
Power Automate is licensed per user (Premium, $15.00/user/mo paid yearly) or per bot for unattended RPA, so cost grows with the number of people who build or run premium flows. Fluxo Flow plans are per workspace: each plan includes a number of seats and workflows, extra seats are an add-on, and runs, tasks and steps are never metered.
Does Fluxo Flow have as many integrations as Power Automate?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. Native integrations live today are Google Sheets, HubSpot, Notion, Salesforce and Slack, with 39 more in beta. Anything with an API can be reached through HTTP requests and webhooks. If you depend on a niche app that Power Automate supports natively, Power Automate may be the better fit.
How do AI costs work?
You connect your own key from one of 14 providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Mistral and more). Your provider bills you at their published price; we add no markup and sell no AI credits. Dry Runs never call your provider.
Can I self-host Fluxo Flow?
No. Fluxo Flow is hosted only. If self-hosting is a must, look at a self-hostable tool such as n8n or Activepieces instead.
How do I move my flows over?
Power Automate has no portable export, so rebuild them on the canvas: recreate the trigger with a schedule or webhook, add a node per step (or start from a template), then Dry Run with real sample data before you switch the flow off. The migration steps above walk through it.
Do Fluxo Flow's Microsoft 365 integrations work like Power Automate's?
Partly, and they're newer. Outlook Mail (including a new-email trigger), Outlook Calendar, Microsoft Teams (send only), Excel and OneDrive & SharePoint connectors are in beta. There's no desktop RPA. If most of your automations stay inside Microsoft 365, Power Automate is probably the better fit.
Is Power Automate included in Microsoft 365?
Some Office 365 and Dynamics 365 licences include Power Automate with standard connectors, including Approvals, per Microsoft's documentation. Premium connectors and desktop flows need a Power Automate licence. Check Microsoft's licensing guide for your plan.
Is there a free plan or a guarantee?
Yes. The Free plan lets you build up to 3 draft workflows and test them with Dry Run on sample data, with no credit card. It doesn't run anything live: running workflows by hand, on a schedule, from a webhook or through the API needs a paid plan, from $39/mo. Paid plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment.
