Files & storage integration
Google Drive integration for AI workflows.
File paperwork automatically: job folders, CSV exports and generated documents in Google Drive.
In short
Fluxo Flow connects to Google Drive by signing in to Google; workflows can create a folder, create a file from text and share a file or folder and more, and start from new file in a folder. The integration is in beta.
Beta means it works but hasn't been tested against every account setup yet; actions and fields may still change. Found a problem? Tell us.
What you can do
Actions and triggers for Google Drive.
Actions
Create a folder
Creates a folder (inside another Fluxo Flow folder, or at the top of My Drive).
Create a file from text
Saves text from the run (notes, CSV, HTML, JSON) as a file — or converts it into a Google Doc (from text/HTML) or Google Sheet (from CSV).
Share a file or folder
Gives a person access to a file/folder Fluxo Flow created, or turns on “anyone with the link”.
List files in a folder
Lists the files in a Fluxo Flow folder, newest first, optionally only names containing some text.
Triggers
New file in a folder (checked on your plan's schedule interval)
Starts a run for each new file in a folder Fluxo Flow created. Files other apps or people add there are only seen if they were opened with Fluxo Flow — Google limits this connection to Fluxo Flow's own files.
How to connect
Connect Google Drive in a minute.
Connects by signing in to Google. Tokens are encrypted and renewed automatically.
- Open Settings → Integrations and click Connect on Google Drive.
- Sign in with your Google account and allow access to “files used with Fluxo Flow”.
- Use Create a folder once, then save files into it from any workflow.
Permissions & limits
What it can access, and how fast it runs.
Permissions requested
Create folders and files, share them, list them and the New file trigger — only files Fluxo Flow creates or opens (non-sensitive scope)
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file
Show which Google account is connected
openid, email, profile
Not requested: full Drive access (drive, drive.readonly — restricted scopes)
Limits and timing
- Polling triggers are checked on your plan's schedule interval: Basic every 15 minutes, Pro every 5 minutes, Business every 2 minutes, Elite every minute.
- Google Drive triggers check at most every 2 minutes, whatever your plan, to respect Google Drive's limits.
- If Google Drive says to slow down (HTTP 429 or 503), requests wait as told and retry a limited number of times.

FAQ
Google Drive questions, answered.
Can Fluxo Flow see all my Drive files?
No. It uses Google's “only files used with this app” permission: it sees the folders and files it created (and files opened with it), nothing else in your Drive.
Why doesn't the folder list show my existing folders?
Because of that limited permission. Create a folder with the Create a folder step (you can rename and move it in Drive afterwards) and use it in your workflows.
Can I upload a PDF or image from a link?
Not yet. Files are created from text in the run (plain text, CSV, HTML, JSON, Markdown), and can be converted to Google Docs or Sheets.
Is the Google Drive integration finished?
It's in beta: it works, but it hasn't been tested against every account setup yet. Tell us if something doesn't behave as expected.
Can I use Google Drive on the Free plan?
You can connect it, build with it and Dry Run on the Free plan. Running workflows live (triggers, schedules, webhooks) needs a paid plan.
What happens if the connection expires?
Access tokens are renewed automatically. If Google Drive revokes access (for example, the person who connected it leaves), steps that use the connection fail and show the error in the run trace; reconnect in Settings → Integrations.
Can I call Google Drive endpoints the integration doesn't cover?
Yes, if Google Drive has an API: save a key in the encrypted credential vault and call it with an HTTP Request step.
Can I test a workflow without touching my real data?
Yes. Dry Run walks through every step with simulated app calls, so nothing is sent until you run it for real or activate its trigger.
