Spreadsheets & databases integration
Microsoft Excel integration for AI workflows.
Log jobs, loads and leads into Excel tables in OneDrive or SharePoint — and react to new rows.
In short
Fluxo Flow connects to Microsoft Excel by signing in to Microsoft 365; workflows can add a row to a table, read table rows and find a table row and more, and start from new table row. The integration is in beta.
Beta means it works but hasn't been tested against every account setup yet; actions and fields may still change. Found a problem? Tell us.
What you can do
Actions and triggers for Microsoft Excel.
Actions
Add a row to a table
Adds a row at the bottom of an Excel table.
Read table rows
Reads all rows of a table as objects keyed by the header row.
Find a table row
Finds the first row of a table where a column equals a value (not case-sensitive).
Read a range
Reads the values of a cell range (like A1:C10) on a worksheet.
Update a range
Writes values into a cell range. The values must have exactly the range's rows and columns.
Triggers
New table row (checked on your plan's schedule interval)
Starts a run for each row added at the bottom of an Excel table (checked on your plan's schedule interval).
How to connect
Connect Microsoft Excel in a minute.
Connects by signing in to Microsoft 365. Tokens are encrypted and renewed automatically.
- Open Settings → Integrations and click Connect on Microsoft Excel.
- Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account and accept the permissions.
- In Excel, turn your data into a table (Insert → Table), then pick the drive, workbook and table in a workflow step.
Permissions & limits
What it can access, and how fast it runs.
Permissions requested
Read and write workbooks in OneDrive and SharePoint
Files.ReadWrite.All
Show which Microsoft account is connected; stay connected
User.Read, offline_access
Limits and timing
- Polling triggers are checked on your plan's schedule interval: Basic every 15 minutes, Pro every 5 minutes, Business every 2 minutes, Elite every minute.
- Microsoft Excel triggers check at most every 2 minutes, whatever your plan, to respect Microsoft Excel's limits.
- If Microsoft Excel says to slow down (HTTP 429 or 503), requests wait as told and retry a limited number of times.

FAQ
Microsoft Excel questions, answered.
Why does it need an Excel table?
Microsoft's API adds and reads rows through tables, which also keeps the header row and formatting consistent. Select your data in Excel and choose Insert → Table.
Does it work with .xls or .csv files?
No — only .xlsx workbooks stored in OneDrive or SharePoint.
How does the new-row trigger work?
It checks the table on your plan's schedule interval and starts one run per row added at the bottom since the last check. Sorting or deleting rows shifts row numbers, so add new data at the end.
Is the Microsoft Excel integration finished?
It's in beta: it works, but it hasn't been tested against every account setup yet. Tell us if something doesn't behave as expected.
Can I use Microsoft Excel on the Free plan?
You can connect it, build with it and Dry Run on the Free plan. Running workflows live (triggers, schedules, webhooks) needs a paid plan.
What happens if the connection expires?
Access tokens are renewed automatically. If Microsoft Excel revokes access (for example, the person who connected it leaves), steps that use the connection fail and show the error in the run trace; reconnect in Settings → Integrations.
Can I call Microsoft Excel endpoints the integration doesn't cover?
Yes, if Microsoft Excel has an API: save a key in the encrypted credential vault and call it with an HTTP Request step.
Can I test a workflow without touching my real data?
Yes. Dry Run walks through every step with simulated app calls, so nothing is sent until you run it for real or activate its trigger.
