Knowledge Base Builder · Operations
Turn answers buried in email and chat into a real knowledge base
Send it a thread, doc or resolved question and it drafts a clean how-to, SOP or FAQ for your Notion knowledge base. A teammate approves every article before it's published.
Free account to start. Buying and running live need a paid plan.
- Starts when your form or app sends it something
- 1 AI step
- A person approves before it acts
- About 15 min to set up
Sound familiar?
The job, before and after this agent.
What it feels like today
- “The same questions come up in Slack every week and the same two people answer them.”
- “The real process lives in an old email thread nobody can find.”
- “Everyone agrees we need a wiki, but no one has time to write it.”
What you get with the agent
- Raw text becomes a structured article: how-to, SOP, FAQ, policy, troubleshooting or reference, with a summary, tags, who to ask and the source.
- Ambiguous or outdated points are flagged as questions to confirm, and passwords and keys are stripped out.
- Nothing is published until a teammate approves it in Reviews.
- Approved articles are added to your Notion knowledge base and announced in Slack with a link.
- Material with nothing reusable is set aside with the reason, so your wiki doesn't fill with noise.
Before
A new hire asks how to refund a double charge. Your support lead stops what she's doing, digs up an email from last spring and retypes the steps into chat for the fourth time this quarter.
After
That email thread was sent to the agent once. A reviewed “Refunding a duplicate charge” article now lives in Notion with steps, tags and an owner, and the Slack announcement means everyone knows it's there.
How it works
The whole workflow, step by step.
Send the text of a document, an email thread, a chat thread, a resolved support answer or meeting notes to the agent's webhook. AI decides whether it holds reusable knowledge and writes a clear article (how-to, SOP, FAQ, policy, troubleshooting, reference) with a summary, tags, who to ask and the source, flags points a person should confirm and strips passwords and keys. Every article waits for a teammate in Reviews; approved articles are added to your Notion knowledge-base database and announced in Slack with a link to the page. It works from the text you send: it doesn't crawl Drive, inboxes or websites by itself.

This is the workflow that opens in your workspace when you set the agent up. Every step can be edited.
- Step 1New source materialA document's text, an email thread, a resolved support answer or a Slack thread is posted to the workflow's webhook URL (from a form, a script or another workflow).
- Step 2Draft the knowledge-base articleAI decides whether the material holds reusable knowledge and turns it into a clear article (how-to, SOP, FAQ, policy…) with a summary, tags and points to confirm.
- Step 3Worth adding?Material with no reusable knowledge is kept in the run history; everything else goes to review.
- Step 4Review the articleA teammate checks the draft in Reviews (especially points to confirm and anything marked sensitive), edits it and approves it to publish.
- Step 5Add the article to NotionCreates the article as a page in your knowledge-base database, with its summary, body, tags and source.
- Step 6Announce it in SlackOnce the page is created, tells your team a new article is in the knowledge base, with its title, summary, tags and a link to the Notion page.
- Step 7Not addedMaterial with nothing reusable is kept in the run history with the reason.
Example run
What goes in, and what comes out.
Example with fictional data
Comes in
An email thread at fictional Bluefin Supply where the warehouse lead explains, in four back-and-forth messages, how to handle a damaged-on-arrival claim.
The agent produces
Draft SOP “Handling damaged-on-arrival claims” with a summary, 6 numbered steps, tags (returns, warehouse), owner (warehouse lead), source link and one point flagged to confirm: the photo deadline. Waiting in Reviews.
What you need
Everything it takes to run it.
About 15 minutes from purchase to live. A checklist above the canvas takes you through each step.
Plan
Included in Elite and up; on other paid plans it's $69 once. Agents run live on paid plans, from Basic ($39/mo).
Your AI key
Connect any of 14 AI providers on your own key. Your provider bills usage directly, at cost; we add no markup.
Checklist
- A paid plan (agents run live on paid plans).
- An AI provider key (Settings → AI Providers).
- Notion and Slack, connected in Settings → Integrations.
- A way to send text to a webhook (a form, a script, or another workflow).
Setup, about 15 minutes
- Connect your AI provider. The AI steps run on your own key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and more). Add one in Settings → AI Providers.
- Connect Notion. Connect the Notion workspace that holds your knowledge base (Settings → Integrations → Notion) and share the database with it.
- Connect Slack. Connect the Slack workspace your team uses (Settings → Integrations → Slack).
- Describe your team and readers. Open “Draft the knowledge-base article” and replace the placeholder, so articles use your terms and suit your readers.
- Pick your knowledge-base database. Open “Add the article to Notion” and pick your account and database.
- Pick the Slack account and channel. Open “Announce it in Slack” and pick your account and channel. Invite the app to private channels first (/invite @Fluxo Flow).
- Test it with Dry Run. Press Dry Run: the agent runs on sample data with no messages sent and nothing written to your apps.
- Switch the trigger on. Open the trigger, switch the webhook on and send material to its URL (title, source, link and the text as “content”).
Is it a fit?
Who it's for, and what it won't do.
Built for
- Support and operations leads tired of repeat questions
- Growing teams onboarding new hires
- Agencies documenting client processes
- Founders turning tribal knowledge into SOPs
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't crawl Google Drive, your inbox or websites by itself, and it can't read audio, images or scanned PDFs. It works from the text you send.
- It doesn't update or merge existing articles; each approved item becomes a new page.
- It doesn't answer questions from the knowledge base.
We list the limits up front so you can decide before you buy.

FAQ
Questions about Knowledge Base Builder.
Will it publish something wrong?
No article is published without a teammate approving it. Points it isn't sure about are flagged as questions to confirm, and it strips passwords and keys it spots in the source text.
Can it pull from Google Drive or my inbox by itself?
Not in this version. You send it text through a webhook, for example from a form, a script or another workflow. It doesn't read audio, images or scanned PDFs.
How long does it take to set up?
About 15 minutes: connect Notion and Slack, pick your knowledge-base database and announcement channel, and describe your team and readers. To run it live you need a paid plan and your own AI provider key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others), added in Settings. Dry Run on sample data is free, so you can see real output before you commit.
Is it worth the price?
It's a one-time purchase that never renews. It replaces the hours someone would spend turning threads into tidy articles by hand.
Is anything published without a person checking?
No. Every article waits in Reviews until a teammate approves it.
Can it pull documents from Google Drive or my inbox by itself?
Not in this version. Send the text to its webhook, for example from a form, a script, or another workflow.
Is this a subscription?
No. Knowledge Base Builder is a one-time purchase of $69 per workspace and never renews. Elite and Enterprise plans include it at no extra cost. Running it live needs a paid plan (from Basic ($39/mo)), and your AI provider bills you directly for usage.
Can I test it before it touches real data?
Yes. Once it's set up in your workspace, Dry Run plays every step on sample data with simulated AI and app calls: nothing is sent and nothing in your apps changes. Switch the trigger on only when you're happy.
