Testimonial & Review Requester · Marketing
Collect testimonials while the project is still fresh
Two weeks after a HubSpot deal is delivered, it sends a personal, easy testimonial ask, reminds once, and shares responses word for word in your #wins Slack channel.

Sound familiar?
The job, before and after this agent.
What it feels like today
- “We always mean to ask happy clients for a testimonial and never get around to it.”
- “By the time we ask, the project is months old and the client has moved on.”
- “Our website still shows the same three quotes from years ago.”
What you get with the agent
- Starts when a HubSpot deal reaches your delivered stage, then waits 14 days (up to 30).
- A short, personal ask with three easy prompts, your testimonial form link and an optional public review link.
- With review on, the default, a teammate approves the ask and its reminder before anything is sent.
- Responses from your form's sheet shared in #wins word for word, with the publishing permission.
- One gentle reminder at most, and never a reward or a request for 5 stars.
Before
The website relaunch went great. Six months later someone remembers to ask for a quote, and the client barely remembers the project.
After
Two weeks after launch, the client gets a warm note with three quick prompts. A week later their testimonial pops up in #wins with permission to publish.
How it works
The whole workflow, step by step.
When a HubSpot deal enters your delivered stage (for example Live or Delivered), the agent waits 14 days (you can set up to 30), finds the deal's contact, and AI writes a short, personal ask with three easy prompts, your testimonial form link and an optional public review link. With review on (the default), a teammate approves the ask and its reminder first. A week later it looks the customer up in your responses sheet. A testimonial goes to your #wins Slack channel word for word, with the publishing permission. No response gets one gentle reminder, and nothing after that. It never offers rewards for reviews or asks for 5 stars (FTC and Google rules). Pair it with Case Study Drafter to turn a response into a case study.

This is the workflow that opens in your workspace when you set the agent up. Every step can be edited.
- Step 1Deal reaches your “delivered” stageStarts a run when a HubSpot deal enters the stage you pick (e.g. Live, Delivered or Project complete). Checked on your plan's schedule interval.
- Step 2Wait 14 daysGives the customer two weeks to see results before asking. Change the number of days on this step (up to 30).
- Step 3Find the deal's contactsFinds the contacts associated with the deal (name, email, job title).
- Step 4Write the askAI picks the main contact and writes a short, personal ask with 3 easy prompts, your testimonial form link and (optionally) your public review link — plus one gentle reminder for later.
- Step 5Approve the ask first? With review on (the default) or a deal that looks like a problem, the ask waits for approval; otherwise it's sent at once.
- Step 6Approve the askA teammate checks the ask and the reminder in Reviews, edits them if needed and approves. Reject to skip this customer.
- Step 7Has an email?Deals without a contact email can't be asked; everything else is sent (as approved, when review is on).
- Step 8No contact emailThe deal has no contact with an email; nothing was sent.
- Step 9Email the askSends the ask from your workspace's sender, with replies to your inbox.
- Step 10Wait 7 daysGives the customer a week to respond.
- Step 11Look for their responseLooks up the customer's email in your testimonial responses sheet (where your form writes).
- Step 12Responded?AI reads the response row: a testimonial in → a short post for your #wins channel; nothing yet → the one gentle reminder.
- Step 13Testimonial in?A response goes to #wins; no response gets the one gentle reminder.
- Step 14Share it in #winsPosts the testimonial (word for word) and the publishing permission to your wins channel.
- Step 15Testimonial sharedThe run history keeps the response and the Slack post.
- Step 16Send the gentle reminderSends the one reminder written (and approved) with the ask.
- Step 17Reminded onceOne reminder sent; the agent won't ask again.

HubSpot deal Acme Bistro new website moves to Delivered.
The agent produces
14 days later: a personal ask to the owner with three prompts (what was it like before, what changed, would you recommend us) and the form link, approved by a teammate first. A week later the response appears in #wins word for word, with yes to publishing.

FAQ
Questions about Testimonial & Review Requester.
Is it compliant with review rules?
It never offers rewards, discounts or gifts for a review and never asks for 5 stars, in line with FTC and Google rules. It sends one reminder at most and posts nothing publicly.
Where do responses come from?
From the sheet your testimonial form writes to, such as a Google Form, matched by the customer's email. Pair it with Case Study Drafter to turn a response into a case study.
What do I need?
HubSpot, Google Sheets and Slack, plus a testimonial form. Setup takes about 15 minutes, and the waits need the Wait step enabled on your workspace.
Is it worth the price?
A one-time price that never renews. Live runs need a paid plan and your own AI provider key; Dry Run is free.
Why no rewards?
Offering anything of value for a review breaks FTC rules and Google's and most review sites' policies. The ask is personal and easy to say no to, and it never asks for a 5-star review.
Can I change the 14 days?
Yes: open “Wait 14 days” and set any number up to 30.
Is this a subscription?
No. Testimonial & Review Requester is a one-time purchase of $79 per workspace and never renews. The Enterprise plan includes it at no extra cost. Running it live needs a paid plan (from Basic ($39/mo)), and your AI provider bills you directly for usage.
Can I test it before it touches real data?
Yes. Once it's set up in your workspace, Dry Run plays every step on sample data with simulated AI and app calls: nothing is sent and nothing in your apps changes. Switch the trigger on only when you're happy.
