Email integration
Gmail integration for AI workflows.
Send follow-ups, quotes and notifications from your own Gmail address.
In short
Fluxo Flow connects to Gmail by signing in to Google; workflows can send an email. The integration is in beta.
Beta means it works but hasn't been tested against every account setup yet; actions and fields may still change. Found a problem? Tell us.
What you can do
Actions and triggers for Gmail.
Actions
Send an email
Sends an email from the connected Gmail account. It appears in that account's Sent folder.
Triggers
- None yet — start these workflows from a schedule, a webhook or another app.
How to connect
Connect Gmail in a minute.
Connects by signing in to Google. Tokens are encrypted and renewed automatically.
- Open Settings → Integrations and click Connect on Gmail.
- Sign in with your Google account and allow Fluxo Flow to send email on your behalf.
- Add a Gmail step to a workflow and fill in To, Subject and the message (use {{…}} for run data).
Permissions & limits
What it can access, and how fast it runs.
Permissions requested
Send email (sensitive scope: send only — Fluxo Flow can't read your mailbox)
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send
Show which Google account is connected
openid, email, profile
Reading email, drafts and the New email trigger live in the separate “Gmail inbox” app (restricted scopes, off by default)
Limits and timing
- If Gmail says to slow down (HTTP 429 or 503), requests wait as told and retry a limited number of times.
Templates

FAQ
Gmail questions, answered.
Can Fluxo Flow read my email?
No. The Gmail app only asks for permission to send email. Reading email, drafts and an email trigger need extra Google permissions that require a separate Google security review; they're listed as “Gmail inbox” and aren't turned on yet.
How many emails can I send?
Gmail's own limits apply: about 500 recipients a day for personal Gmail and 2,000 a day for Google Workspace accounts. For newsletters or bulk email, use an email marketing tool.
Can I attach files?
You can attach text files built from run data — CSV exports, plain text, JSON, calendar (.ics) files — up to 4 MB in total. Attaching files from a link isn't supported.
Is the Gmail integration finished?
It's in beta: it works, but it hasn't been tested against every account setup yet. Tell us if something doesn't behave as expected.
Can I use Gmail on the Free plan?
You can connect it, build with it and Dry Run on the Free plan. Running workflows live (triggers, schedules, webhooks) needs a paid plan.
What happens if the connection expires?
Access tokens are renewed automatically. If Gmail revokes access (for example, the person who connected it leaves), steps that use the connection fail and show the error in the run trace; reconnect in Settings → Integrations.
Can I call Gmail endpoints the integration doesn't cover?
Yes, if Gmail has an API: save a key in the encrypted credential vault and call it with an HTTP Request step.
Can I test a workflow without touching my real data?
Yes. Dry Run walks through every step with simulated app calls, so nothing is sent until you run it for real or activate its trigger.
