Calendar integration

Google Calendar integration for AI workflows.

Book jobs, visits and interviews on Google Calendar — and react when the schedule changes.

Beta

In short

Fluxo Flow connects to Google Calendar by signing in to Google; workflows can create an event, update an event and delete an event and more, and start from new event and new or updated event. The integration is in beta.

Beta means it works but hasn't been tested against every account setup yet; actions and fields may still change. Found a problem? Tell us.

What you can do

Actions and triggers for Google Calendar.

Actions

  • Create an event

Adds an event (timed or all-day) with optional guests and a Google Meet link.

  • Update an event

Changes the fields you fill in (title, time, description, location, guests); everything else stays as it is.

  • Delete an event

    Deletes (cancels) an event.

  • Find events

Lists events in a time window, optionally matching text (title, description, location, guests). Recurring events are expanded into single occurrences.

Triggers

  • New event (checked on your plan's schedule interval)

Starts a run for each event added to a calendar after the workflow is turned on (checked on your plan's schedule interval).

  • New or updated event (checked on your plan's schedule interval)

Starts a run each time an event is added or changed (time, title, guests…). Cancelled events are skipped.

How to connect

Connect Google Calendar in a minute.

Connects by signing in to Google. Tokens are encrypted and renewed automatically.

  1. Open Settings → Integrations and click Connect on Google Calendar.
  2. Sign in with your Google account and allow Fluxo Flow to manage calendar events.
  3. In a workflow, pick the calendar and fill in the event details (use {{…}} for run data).

Permissions & limits

What it can access, and how fast it runs.

Permissions requested

  • Create, change, delete and find events; event triggers (sensitive scope)

    https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events

  • List your calendars in the Calendar picker (sensitive scope, read-only)

    https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.calendarlist.readonly

  • Show which Google account is connected

    openid, email, profile

Limits and timing

  • Polling triggers are checked on your plan's schedule interval: Basic every 15 minutes, Pro every 5 minutes, Business every 2 minutes, Elite every minute.
  • Google Calendar triggers check at most every 2 minutes, whatever your plan, to respect Google Calendar's limits.
  • If Google Calendar says to slow down (HTTP 429 or 503), requests wait as told and retry a limited number of times.

FAQ

Google Calendar questions, answered.

Can Fluxo Flow change my calendar settings or sharing?

No. It can create, change and delete events and see the list of your calendars — not calendar settings or who a calendar is shared with.

How quickly do the triggers fire?

They check the calendar on your plan's schedule interval (every few minutes at most). Events that already existed when you turned the workflow on don't start runs.

What about time zones?

Give Start and End with an offset (2025-06-03T09:00:00-05:00), or a plain time plus a Time zone such as America/Chicago.

Is the Google Calendar integration finished?

It's in beta: it works, but it hasn't been tested against every account setup yet. Tell us if something doesn't behave as expected.

Can I use Google Calendar on the Free plan?

You can connect it, build with it and Dry Run on the Free plan. Running workflows live (triggers, schedules, webhooks) needs a paid plan.

What happens if the connection expires?

Access tokens are renewed automatically. If Google Calendar revokes access (for example, the person who connected it leaves), steps that use the connection fail and show the error in the run trace; reconnect in Settings → Integrations.

Can I call Google Calendar endpoints the integration doesn't cover?

Yes, if Google Calendar has an API: save a key in the encrypted credential vault and call it with an HTTP Request step.

Can I test a workflow without touching my real data?

Yes. Dry Run walks through every step with simulated app calls, so nothing is sent until you run it for real or activate its trigger.
