CRM & sales integration

Google Contacts integration for AI workflows.

Keep Google Contacts in sync with new leads, drivers, candidates and customers.

Beta

In short

Fluxo Flow connects to Google Contacts by signing in to Google; workflows can create a contact, update a contact and find contacts. The integration is in beta.

Beta means it works but hasn't been tested against every account setup yet; actions and fields may still change. Found a problem? Tell us.

What you can do

Actions and triggers for Google Contacts.

Actions

  • Create a contact

Adds a contact (name, email, phone, company). Google doesn't stop duplicates — use Find contacts first if needed.

  • Update a contact

Changes the fields you fill in. A filled-in field replaces that whole field (e.g. Email replaces the contact's email list). Needs the contact id and etag from Find contacts or Create a contact.

  • Find contacts

Searches contacts by name, email, phone or company (prefix match, up to 30 results).

Triggers

  • None yet — start these workflows from a schedule, a webhook or another app.

How to connect

Connect Google Contacts in a minute.

Connects by signing in to Google. Tokens are encrypted and renewed automatically.

  1. Open Settings → Integrations and click Connect on Google Contacts.
  2. Sign in with your Google account and allow Contacts access.
  3. Add a Google Contacts step to create a contact, or find one by email before updating it.

Permissions & limits

What it can access, and how fast it runs.

Permissions requested

  • Create, update and search contacts (sensitive scope)

    https://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts

  • Show which Google account is connected

    openid, email, profile

Limits and timing

  • If Google Contacts says to slow down (HTTP 429 or 503), requests wait as told and retry a limited number of times.

FAQ

Google Contacts questions, answered.

Will a contact I just created show up in Find contacts right away?

Usually within a few minutes — Google updates its contact search index in the background, so a search right after creating a contact can miss it.

Does it see my “Other contacts” (people I emailed)?

No, only the contacts saved in Google Contacts.

Is the Google Contacts integration finished?

It's in beta: it works, but it hasn't been tested against every account setup yet. Tell us if something doesn't behave as expected.

Can I use Google Contacts on the Free plan?

You can connect it, build with it and Dry Run on the Free plan. Running workflows live (triggers, schedules, webhooks) needs a paid plan.

What happens if the connection expires?

Access tokens are renewed automatically. If Google Contacts revokes access (for example, the person who connected it leaves), steps that use the connection fail and show the error in the run trace; reconnect in Settings → Integrations.

Can I call Google Contacts endpoints the integration doesn't cover?

Yes, if Google Contacts has an API: save a key in the encrypted credential vault and call it with an HTTP Request step.

Can I test a workflow without touching my real data?

Yes. Dry Run walks through every step with simulated app calls, so nothing is sent until you run it for real or activate its trigger.
