CRM & sales integration

Salesforce integration for AI workflows.

Create, update and upsert Salesforce records, query with safe SOQL, and react to new or changed records.

Live

In short

Fluxo Flow connects to Salesforce by signing in to Salesforce; workflows can create a record, run a SOQL query and get the next page of query results and more, and start from new record and new or updated record. The integration is live.

Live means tested end to end against real accounts. Found a problem? Tell us.

What you can do

Actions and triggers for Salesforce.

Actions

  • Create a record

Creates a record (Lead, Contact, Account, Case, a custom object…).

  • Run a SOQL query

Runs a read-only SELECT query. Put run data in Parameters and refer to them as :name in the query. Large results come back in pages: pass “Next page link” to “Get the next page of query results”.

  • Get the next page of query results

Fetches the next batch of a SOQL query whose results didn't fit in one response (up to 2,000 records per page).

  • Get a record

    Reads one record by id.

  • Update a record

Updates fields on a record by id.

  • Create or update a record

Updates the record whose external ID field matches, or creates one when there's no match.

Triggers

  • New record (checked on your plan's schedule interval)

Starts a run for each new record of an object (Lead, Case, Opportunity, a custom object…). Standard fields are included; use “Get a record” for custom fields.

  • New or updated record (checked on your plan's schedule interval)

Starts a run each time a record of an object is created or changed (checked with SystemModstamp).

Use cases

What teams build with Salesforce.

  • New Lead summary in Slack

    1. Salesforce: New record (Lead)
    2. Salesforce: Get a record
    3. AI Generate: who and what they need
    4. Slack: Post a message
  • Clean inquiries into Leads

    1. Webhook trigger (form)
    2. AI Generate: split names, normalize fields
    3. Salesforce: Create or update a record
  • Big opportunity changes only

    1. Salesforce: New or updated record (Opportunity)
    2. Router: Closed Won or amount over threshold
    3. Slack: Post a message
  • Weekly pipeline query

    1. Scheduled trigger (Fridays)
    2. Salesforce: Run a SOQL query
    3. AI Generate: summary
    4. Send Email

How to connect

Connect Salesforce in a minute.

Connects by signing in to Salesforce. Tokens are encrypted and renewed automatically.

  1. Open Settings → Integrations and click Connect on Salesforce (pick Sandbox for a sandbox org).
  2. Sign in to Salesforce and allow access.
  3. Your org needs API access (Enterprise, Unlimited, Developer or Performance edition).

What you need on the Salesforce side

  • A Salesforce edition with API access: Enterprise, Unlimited, Developer or Performance.
  • For a sandbox org, pick Sandbox when connecting.

Permissions & limits

What it can access, and how fast it runs.

Permissions requested

  • REST API access + staying connected

    api, refresh_token, offline_access

Limits and timing

  • Polling triggers are checked on your plan's schedule interval: Basic every 15 minutes, Pro every 5 minutes, Business every 2 minutes, Elite every minute.
  • Salesforce triggers check at most every 2 minutes, whatever your plan, to respect Salesforce's limits.
  • If Salesforce says to slow down (HTTP 429 or 503), requests wait as told and retry a limited number of times.
  • Each trigger check and each action uses one API call from your org's daily allowance.
  • SOQL queries are read-only (SELECT); large results come back in pages of up to 2,000 records.

FAQ

Salesforce questions, answered.

Can a workflow run any SOQL?

Only SELECT queries. Run data goes into named parameters that are always escaped, so a value can't change the query.

What if a query returns more than 2,000 records?

Salesforce returns results in pages. “Run a SOQL query” outputs a “Next page link”; pass it to “Get the next page of query results” (in a loop if needed) until “Last page” is true.

How fast do the record triggers fire?

They check Salesforce on your plan's schedule interval (at least every 2 minutes). Each check uses one API call from your org's daily allowance.

Is the Salesforce integration ready to use?

Yes. Salesforce is live: connect it in Settings → Integrations on any plan, including Free (on Free you can build with it and Dry Run; running it live needs a paid plan).

What happens if the connection expires?

Access tokens are renewed automatically. If Salesforce revokes access (for example, the person who connected it leaves), steps that use the connection fail and show the error in the run trace; reconnect in Settings → Integrations.

Can I call Salesforce endpoints the integration doesn't cover?

Yes, if Salesforce has an API: save a key in the encrypted credential vault and call it with an HTTP Request step.

Can I test a workflow without touching my real data?

Yes. Dry Run walks through every step with simulated app calls, so nothing is sent until you run it for real or activate its trigger.
