Productivity integration
Google Docs integration for AI workflows.
Generate quotes, letters and job sheets in Google Docs from your workflow data.
In short
Fluxo Flow connects to Google Docs by signing in to Google; workflows can create a document from text, append text and fill in placeholders and more. The integration is in beta.
Beta means it works but hasn't been tested against every account setup yet; actions and fields may still change. Found a problem? Tell us.
What you can do
Actions and triggers for Google Docs.
Actions
Create a document from text
Creates a Google Doc from text or HTML built in the workflow (a quote, a job summary, a letter). Use HTML for headings, bold text, lists and tables.
Append text
Adds text at the end of a document (a log entry, meeting notes, a new line item).
Fill in placeholders
Replaces {{name}}-style placeholders in a document with values from the run. This edits that document itself — to keep a template unchanged, create the document from text first or make a copy in Google Docs.
Get document text
Reads a document's title and body as plain text (paragraphs and tables).
Triggers
- None yet — start these workflows from a schedule, a webhook or another app.
How to connect
Connect Google Docs in a minute.
Connects by signing in to Google. Tokens are encrypted and renewed automatically.
- Open Settings → Integrations and click Connect on Google Docs.
- Sign in with your Google account and allow Google Docs access.
- Add a Google Docs step: create a document from text, or paste a document link to append or fill in placeholders.
Permissions & limits
What it can access, and how fast it runs.
Permissions requested
Append text, fill in placeholders and read documents you can open (sensitive scope)
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/documents
Create documents and pick Fluxo Flow folders (non-sensitive scope: only files Fluxo Flow creates)
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file
Show which Google account is connected
openid, email, profile
Limits and timing
- If Google Docs says to slow down (HTTP 429 or 503), requests wait as told and retry a limited number of times.
Ready-made agents
AI agents that use Google Docs.
Finished workflows that connect to Google Docs. Pay once, connect your apps, Dry Run and switch on.
FAQ
Google Docs questions, answered.
How do templates work?
Two ways: write the template text (or HTML) in the Create a document step with run data in it, or put {{placeholders}} in a Google Doc and use Fill in placeholders. Fill in placeholders edits that document, so use it on a copy.
Can it make PDFs?
Not directly yet. Create the Google Doc, then use File → Download → PDF in Google Docs, or share the document link.
Is the Google Docs integration finished?
It's in beta: it works, but it hasn't been tested against every account setup yet. Tell us if something doesn't behave as expected.
Can I use Google Docs on the Free plan?
You can connect it, build with it and Dry Run on the Free plan. Running workflows live (triggers, schedules, webhooks) needs a paid plan.
What happens if the connection expires?
Access tokens are renewed automatically. If Google Docs revokes access (for example, the person who connected it leaves), steps that use the connection fail and show the error in the run trace; reconnect in Settings → Integrations.
Can I call Google Docs endpoints the integration doesn't cover?
Yes, if Google Docs has an API: save a key in the encrypted credential vault and call it with an HTTP Request step.
Can I test a workflow without touching my real data?
Yes. Dry Run walks through every step with simulated app calls, so nothing is sent until you run it for real or activate its trigger.
