E-commerce integration

Shopify integration for AI workflows.

Automate your Shopify store: route new orders, tag and fulfill them with tracking, and sync customers.

Beta

In short

Fluxo Flow connects to Shopify with an API key or credentials you provide; workflows can get an order, find orders and update an order's tags or note and more, and start from new order and new customer. The integration is in beta.

Beta means it works but hasn't been tested against every account setup yet; actions and fields may still change. Found a problem? Tell us.

What you can do

Actions and triggers for Shopify.

Actions

  • Get an order

Reads an order with its customer, line items and addresses.

  • Find orders

Finds orders by order name (#1001) or customer email.

  • Update an order's tags or note

Replaces an order's tags and/or note (e.g. tag it “wholesale” or “priority”).

  • Mark an order fulfilled

Fulfills an order's open items from one location, with tracking (Shopify emails the customer if you choose).

  • Create a customer

Adds a customer to the store.

  • Find a customer

Searches customers by email, phone or name.

  • Find products

Lists products, optionally by title, with variants, prices and inventory.

Triggers

  • New order (checked on your plan's schedule interval)

Starts a run for each new order (any status).

  • New customer (checked on your plan's schedule interval)

Starts a run for each new customer account.

How to connect

Connect Shopify in a minute.

Connects with an API key or credentials, tested before they're saved and encrypted at rest.

  1. In Shopify admin, open Settings → Apps and sales channels → Develop apps (or Shopify's Dev Dashboard) and create a custom app for your store.
  2. Give it the Admin API scopes listed on this page and install it on your store.
  3. Open Settings → Integrations here, click Connect on Shopify, enter your store address and the app's Admin API access token (or its client ID and secret).

Permissions & limits

What it can access, and how fast it runs.

Permissions requested

  • Orders: look up, tag, new-order trigger

    read_orders, write_orders

  • Fulfillments with tracking

    read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders, write_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders

  • Customers

    read_customers, write_customers

  • Products

    read_products

Limits and timing

  • Polling triggers are checked on your plan's schedule interval: Basic every 15 minutes, Pro every 5 minutes, Business every 2 minutes, Elite every minute.
  • Calls to Shopify are paced at up to 2 per second.
  • If Shopify says to slow down (HTTP 429 or 503), requests wait as told and retry a limited number of times.

FAQ

Shopify questions, answered.

Why a custom app instead of a one-click install?

A custom app on your own store is the fastest way to connect today and keeps access limited to the scopes you choose. A one-click Shopify App Store install is planned.

Does the new-order trigger see older orders?

It starts from the newest order when you turn it on and runs once for every order after that. Shopify only exposes the last 60 days of orders unless the app has read_all_orders.

Is the Shopify integration finished?

It's in beta: it works, but it hasn't been tested against every account setup yet. Tell us if something doesn't behave as expected.

Can I use Shopify on the Free plan?

You can connect it, build with it and Dry Run on the Free plan. Running workflows live (triggers, schedules, webhooks) needs a paid plan.

Can I call Shopify endpoints the integration doesn't cover?

Yes, if Shopify has an API: save a key in the encrypted credential vault and call it with an HTTP Request step.

Can I test a workflow without touching my real data?

Yes. Dry Run walks through every step with simulated app calls, so nothing is sent until you run it for real or activate its trigger.
