For freight brokers & 3PLs

Automate the back office of a brokerage. Keep the brokering human.

Order alerts, rate lookups, load posts, carrier checks and exception updates are repeatable. Rate negotiation, tendering and carrier selection aren't. Fluxo Flow automates the first list and puts a person in front of the second.

In short

Fluxo Flow connects to DAT, Truckstop, McLeod (LoadMaster and PowerBroker) and Tai TMS through beta connectors that use your own API access, plus any system with an API or webhooks. Brokerages use it to alert ops on new orders, pull lane rates before quoting, post loads after a broker approves them, gather FMCSA facts for carrier vetting and turn tracking exceptions into customer updates.

What changes

Less copying, chasing and checking.

  • Today

New orders sit in the TMS until someone refreshes the screen.

    With Fluxo Flow

McLeod's new-order trigger (beta) starts a run on your plan's schedule and posts the order summary to the team channel.

  • Today

Quotes go out on gut feel because pulling lane rates takes three tabs.

    With Fluxo Flow

One step asks DAT RateView or Truckstop Rate Insights for the lane, AI summarizes the range, and the broker decides the number.

  • Today

Carrier checks are copy-paste from SAFER into a spreadsheet.

    With Fluxo Flow

An HTTP step pulls the carrier's authority and out-of-service data from FMCSA's QCMobile API, deterministic checks flag problems, and a person makes the call.

  • Today

Customers hear about delays from their own receivers.

    With Fluxo Flow

Tracking exceptions are classified as they arrive and a drafted update goes out after a dispatcher checks it.

Example workflows

Six workflows you could build this week.

Each one uses nodes that exist on the canvas today. Start from a blank canvas or a marketplace agent and adapt it.

New order alert

4 steps

Every new McLeod order is summarized for the ops channel so coverage starts sooner.

  1. Step 1: App event triggerMcLeod: New order (beta)
  2. Step 2: IntegrationMcLeod: Get an order (stops, freight)
  3. Step 3: AI GenerateOne-paragraph load summary
  4. Step 4: Slack PostPost to #ops-coverage

Result: Ops sees every new load within one schedule interval, with the details that matter.

Rate check before quoting

6 steps

A quote request triggers lane-rate lookups; the broker sees the range and sets the price.

  1. Step 1: Webhook triggerQuote request (lane, equipment, date)
  2. Step 2: IntegrationTruckstop: Rate Insights estimate
  3. Step 3: IntegrationDAT: RateView lane lookup (needs a RateView seat)
  4. Step 4: AI GenerateSummarize the range in plain words
  5. Step 5: Human ReviewBroker sets the quote
  6. Step 6: Send EmailSend the approved quote

Result: Faster quotes backed by market data, with the number still the broker's.

Post a load after sign-off

5 steps

An order becomes a DAT or Truckstop post only after a broker checks equipment, dates and rate.

  1. Step 1: App event triggerMcLeod: New order (beta)
  2. Step 2: TransformerMap stops and equipment to the post body
  3. Step 3: Human ReviewBroker approves or edits the post
  4. Step 4: IntegrationDAT: Post a load / Truckstop: Post a load
  5. Step 5: Slack PostConfirm in the team channel

Result: Consistent load posts without retyping, and nothing posted that a broker didn't see.

Carrier vetting packet

5 steps

A DOT or MC number turns into an FMCSA fact sheet with flags, for a person to decide on.

  1. Step 1: Webhook triggerCarrier setup form (DOT/MC)
  2. Step 2: HTTP RequestFMCSA QCMobile: carrier by DOT number
  3. Step 3: ValidatorAuthority active, not out of service
  4. Step 4: RouterFlags found?
  5. Step 5: Human ReviewCarrier manager decides

Result: The same checks on every carrier, written down, with the decision left to your team.

Shipment exception alerts

5 steps

Tracking exceptions are classified by severity; urgent ones reach a dispatcher, and customers get a checked update.

  1. Step 1: Webhook triggerTracking or TMS exception event
  2. Step 2: AI GenerateClassify severity and draft an update
  3. Step 3: RouterUrgent or routine?
  4. Step 4: Human ReviewDispatcher checks urgent ones
  5. Step 5: Send EmailUpdate the customer

Result: Customers hear about problems from you first, with the facts right.

Weekly lane digest

4 steps

Every Friday, a load log in Google Sheets becomes a short lane-by-lane summary for the team.

  1. Step 1: Scheduled triggerFridays at 3pm
  2. Step 2: IntegrationGoogle Sheets: read this week's loads
  3. Step 3: AI GenerateVolume, margin notes and problem lanes
  4. Step 4: Slack PostPost to #lanes

Result: A weekly view of what moved and where margin went, without a meeting.

Human in the loop

What stays a person's call

Put a Human Review step in front of these. The run waits in the Review Queue until someone approves, edits or rejects it.

  • The rate you quote and the rate you pay
  • Which carrier gets the load, especially a new one
  • Anything about safety, claims or compliance
  • Customer escalations and bad news

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can Fluxo Flow book loads or pick carriers by itself?

It could call the APIs, but we don't recommend it. Use automation to gather rates, carrier facts and order details, and keep tendering, pricing and carrier selection behind a Human Review step.

Do I need my own DAT, Truckstop or McLeod API access?

Yes. The connectors sign in with your credentials: DAT needs API access set up by DAT, Truckstop issues a client ID and secret on request, and McLeod needs a web services URL reachable from the internet and a user or API token from your admin.

Is there a trigger for new matching loads on DAT?

Not yet. DAT's search results flow isn't publicly documented, so run a search on a schedule and filter the results in the workflow. McLeod has a new-order trigger today.

How fast do the triggers react?

Polling triggers like McLeod's new order are checked on your plan's schedule interval (at least every 5 minutes for McLeod). Anything that can send a webhook starts a run within seconds.
